Bridal Reflections

I have my very first appointment to go dress shopping tomorrow at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. I'm so excited and so nervous. I was a BM a year ago and we got the dresses at the Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and it wasnt a great experience. Has anyone gone shopping/got their dresses at the Massapequa store? I'm hoping this Bridal Reflections is going to be different, I've heard alot of good things about the Massapequa store.

I just went there with a friend to find her wedding gown. She did not know at all what she wanted. The woman who helped her was so nice, not at all pushy and chose some really great dresses that suited my friend. She ended up buying the first dress she tried on! Let me know how it goes because I plan on going there next month!

Re: Bridal Reflections

they were nice BUT when I went to try on a sample there of my dress they were going to charge me twice the price of my maggie that obviously ended up ordering elsewhere.

I got mine for $1350 (what most stores were quoting me) and bridal reflections was going to charge me $2200.

I have ordered my dress from BR in Massapequa. I had an amazing experience when I went to try on the dress. Tracey helped me. She was such a sweetheart. However, when I called to ask them a question, they were a little nasty on the phone. It seemed like when they got their money, that was it. BUT, my experience isn't finished yet so don't be discouraged. Good luck and have fun with the dresses- it is a fun time so enjoy it!

Same dress that i was originally going to get and they gave me the same price - they do mark up their dresses considerably more than some other places (at least the 3 that I price compared from there)

Another thing i didnt like was we had an appt last Sat and were there on time and after being there for less than an hour when I wanted to try more gowns on (I had tried on maybe 4 at this point?) she said I can come back on Monday. oh, but not THIS monday since it would be busy. EXCUSE ME?? I have an appt. And, its been under an hour. So i'll try more dresses on TODAY, thank you.

They definitely mark up there prices that is for sure. Our BM dress were about $150 dollars more there. My wedding dress was just about $350 more.
I wanted to try on as well and they told me I needed to come back, but yet if you miss your appointment they want to charge you I think $50 dollars. Give me a break.

i did not buy the dresses there tho. I found them a lot cheaper in a lot of other stores.

I went there about a month ago and had a very pleasant experiance. Darnell helped me and she was amazing! She actually is a designer so she knows alot about the fabrics.
I am actually going there on Thursday, they are having a James Clifford trunk show July 10-14th.

i bought my dress from there. i had darnell. she was great. like someone else just posted, she told me she makes costumes and even offered to make me a dress if i couldn't find one i liked. i fell in love with a james clifford collection dress so i couldn't try to find it cheaper somewhere else. i'm not sure how much more expensive they are than other places, but i do know that my bm dresses were like 160-165 there and i bought them from the bridal suite of centereach for 158.

I went to Bridal Reflections yesturday and it was great. I delt with Mary Lou and she was wonderful. So helpful and I may have found the dress too. I fell in love with a Winnie Couture dress but my mom wants me to go to another store since that was my first time dress shopping. Massapequa is def a million times better then Carle Place

Good Luck I'm a B.R. NYC bride.....they were absolutely great and made my dress shopping experience remarkable.

You know...i bought my dress w/o my parents while they were away on vacation....i couldn't wait. sooo they were a litlle upset at the thought. I called B.R. and i asked them if i can reinact the purchase for my parents and they said ok.

funny thing is that my dad loved a more tradition gown, but at the end, they chose mine pheewwww

just wanted to share......G.L
