Re: Bridal Reflections
i got turned off when I had to give my credit card number to have an appointment - like, if we didn't show up, we got charged $50.

Re: Bridal Reflections
I've gone to the Massapequa & Carle Place locations. From what the sales people told me, Massapequa ranges from 1,000 to about 4,000 and then the Carle Place goes much higher than 4 K. HTH
They were very nice at both locations btw...even tho I didn't end up getting my dress from them.

yes, but that's not just at Bridal Reflections. A few salons are like that. And as long as you cancel before hand, they will not charge you.

I bought my dress from the one in Massapequa. They were having a trunk show for a designer and I got it for under 2K

I think only the BR in Carle Place requires the credit card for cancelations. I got turned off too and didn't make an appointment. But I had a really great experience with the one in Massapequa. Really nice staff and a great selection!!!!!

A few places do that. Kleinfeld's did it too. That's pretty common actually. At first I thought it was strange... but turns out it's prett norm.
BUT I DO think that.. charging to have a dress that you claim to sell shipped into the store is ridiculous!! You shop the stores by designers they sell.... so if there's a particular dress you want to try on and they don't have it... they charge you about $75 to have it shipped so you can try it on!! then IF IF IF IF you buy it they take that as a discount. I think that's absurd!!!

Re: Bridal Reflections
I went to all 3 locations. To be honest I didnt love the customer service at any of them. I felt I received that worst customer service at the one in Massapequa...But this was just my experience...I know girls that loved all 3 locations

Re: Bridal Reflections
Lilettes does not charge a fee if you miss your appointment.
I didn't know this was common practice, but I didn't go to a lot of shops either, so there ya go!
I loved Lilettes - I thought they were no pressure, all about customer service. Now I'm onto the alterations part of the process...so I can't really comment on that yet!
