i got turned off when I had to give my credit card number to have an appointment - like, if we didn't show up, we got charged $50.

A few places do that. Kleinfeld's did it too. That's pretty common actually. At first I thought it was strange... but turns out it's prett norm.

BUT I DO think that.. charging to have a dress that you claim to sell shipped into the store is ridiculous!! You shop the stores by designers they sell.... so if there's a particular dress you want to try on and they don't carry it... they charge you about 75 to have it shipped so you can try it on!! then IF IF IF IF you buy it they take that as a discount. I think that's absurd!!!

they didn't charge me for this....my dress was in the NYC store and they brought it to Carle Place for me to try on but i was NOT charged $75 for that service. maybe its a new thing....

Re: Bridal Reflections

so is my $500 coupon just a way to get me into their store....

on the bottom on the gift certificiate it states ' for any gown or evening wear over $2500 and coupon must be presented prior to wedding consultation'

lol

Loved the Massapequa one!

Re: Bridal Reflections

I've been going to the one in Massapequa because they have the dress that I picked for my BM's and I never felt like I got good service there either. There was one girl who was kinda helpful but they pretty much make you fend for yourself. Plus, I find that their stuff is more expensive than other bridal salons. The BM dress is $190 there and I've seen it for $169 in other stores.

Manhattan told me I shouldn't come there because my price range was too low! Funny because I live in the city and it was a holiday weekend, so I can't see what it would have hurt them. I might have bought a more expensive dress!

I went to all 3 locations. To be honest I didnt love the customer service at any of them. I felt I received that worst customer service at the one in Massapequa...But this was just my experience...I know girls that loved all 3 locations

I had an AWFUL customer service experience at the one in Carle Place.

had a GREAT experience with Michelle in Massapequa for BM dresses and I drove her nuts.

I had such an amazing experience at the one in Carle Place ( I went to the Simone Carvalli Trunk Show). I got my MOB and FMIL and BM dresses at the massapequa location. They really are making everything just smooth sailing for me :)

ETD: Btw they totally hooked me up with deals on my MOB, FMIL and BM dresses. They gave me a nice discount on them :) Another perk about getting your dress there.

Re: Bridal Reflections

I got my gown at the Massapequa location and so did my cousin and we both had a great experience. I ordered the BM dresses at the Massapequa store but shopped there and Carle Place for them and had great customer service there also. My mom has been back and forth to Massapequa for her dress as well and they've been great although they could use another salesperson or two on the weekends in the MOB section. I have been so happy with my experience there though!

yes, but that's not just at Bridal Reflections. A few salons are like that. And as long as you cancel before hand, they will not charge you.

I think only the BR in Carle Place requires the credit card for cancelations. I got turned off too and didn't make an appointment. But I had a really great experience with the one in Massapequa. Really nice staff and a great selection!!!!!

What?? I went to 6 different bridal stores and not a single one asked for my credit card number! Ridic!
