Re: Bridal reflections- is this normal?

they never asked for my cc number, my girls ordered their gowns from them, and so far we've had a great experience (massapequa) but the one in carle place was a nightmare. long story short, i drove out there for no reason (After a long day at work) just for them to tell me they messed up and didn't have the sample i needed so i had to go back to massapequa....

They suck but they do have nice dresses. I have been there 3 times already and each time they only let me see 4 dresses and tell me that they don't have anymore dresses. Really what they are trying to tell me is that they don't wnat to waste there time on me if my budget isnt over $5000. They are really snotty in there and try and rush you out if you don't have a big budget.

see I can't stand this...to them $5,000 may not seem like a big budget but they need to realize that this is above average. It's not a spit in the bucket for everyone and they need to work harder and go the extra mile to make people secure with their purchase. money doesn't always come easy and they need to get over that time is money mentality. time isn't the onlyinvestment needed to make money...it's got to be about gaining the customers trust and great service too.

Personally I think that iscrazy. I have been to bridal reflections many times and i do not liek it there one bit. It is like a factory of brides and you more like a number than a person..

I wouldn't trust it. I had an appointment at BR in Massapequa and no one asked for a credit card, and they gave me the appointment I asked for with 5 days notice. The people in Carl Place kinda rubbed me the wrong way when I stopped in there once, very snooty and I could almost see them doing something like that. Still, that sounds shady.

I didn't buy from Bridal Reflections, but my experience was overall very good and I liked the selection. Don't give your credit card number. They may be overbooked and trying to capitalize on the busy season, but there is no reason to start this long, arduous relationship with mistrust--or to get your identity stolen.

Like I said before I did not have to leave a CC # but I have to say that my experience at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place has been great, They went above and beyond for me the day that I went there. I guess everyone has different experiences no matter where they go

Yea I find that very odd..I've been there several times......never left a card, they were never rude (knock on wood)...lol...maybe it's the bad apple in the bunch of something

My bridal shop is lellettes and they are just so friggin nice and pleasant everythime I go. never pushy. If I say I have a crinoline at home already they don't try to convince me why the ones in their stores are really what i'll need. they just say 'oh wonderful, that'll save you some money'

That is weird. I called and made an appt with them and they never required a CC. I think something is wrong with that!

I went to both BR's and I was never asked for a credit card. I made several appointments and was able to get in right away. I ultimately ended up getting my dress from BR in Carle Place. I found the staff to be very helpful. But I guess not everyones experiences are the same. THe only other place I ever heard of asking for a CC # is Kleinfelds.

wow, I wonder what her answer would be if you say you don't own a CC. I think it'd be kind of fun just see what she says. I went to the one in massapequa and they did not ask for a CC and I actually had a pretty good experience there
