Re: Bridal reflections- is this normal?

I went there and my sister went there 3 years ago and we didn't have to leave a cc number---but I will never go back, cause we both had horrible experiences there

I had an appt with them two months ago and they didn't tell me that. Is it a new policy? I would definately question it

wow thanks for all your input everyone... I wonder why bridal reflections does this to some and not others.... maybe because my appointment was on a Sat. After hearing all these horror stories, I don't think I want to give them my business anyway. I'm definitely canceling my appointment.

'This was the Massapequa one... I gave them my CC# like an idiot but now I think I want to cancel.

Then I went to Village Bridals in Babylon- they're fairly new (same owners as Lydia's in Copiague)... my mom and I just walked in without an appointment- they were SO nice... They weren't pushy and following me around the store or making me try on dresses... They had a GREAT selection, and the dresses were very reasonable... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

AND PS- I think I found THE ONE!

Oooh thanks for posting this I've been dying to go over and see Village bridals...too bad I already got my dress all the way in Westchester but Village Bridals is so close to me I wonder if anyone has tried the Limo place next door?

I know you usualy need an apointment, but they never asked me for a cc #. No place has. Maybe its a new policy. Very strange.

I HATE bridal reflections....honestly they have nice dresses but all their employees have bad attitudes and their business ethic is horrible IMO.

I could NOTTTTT agree more!!! I have been there SEVERAL times for different weddings I have been in.. and they are SOOO rude and nasty.. and act like they couldn't be bothered with you!

I have NEVER had to give my cc# anywhere.. and I've even MADE appts at Bridal Reflections 3 times for different brides that I know.. and they NEVER asked me.

i went there for both my sister and myself and HATE the place! They are incredibly snobby and rude....I say don't waste your time...plenty of other places to check out...also they only allow you to explain what you like, they then go get about 2-3 dresses that fit that description and then if you don't like any, they are pretty much finished with you....really disappointing...if you check them out on this board you will see this repeated a lot!

I went on a Saturday and they did not ask me for a CC. I would cancel and tell them you don't agree with their policy.

Thats strange...i went to their massapiqua store looking for bridal dresses and they didn't ask me for a credit card.... are you going to the carle place one instead? maybe its different....

I called today to cancel... they said it's a new policy because too many girls just don't show up on weekends.

I told them it made me very uncomfortable and I don't want to give business to anyone with a policy like that. I'm all about Village Bridal now.
