Re: Bridal Registry

i did bed bath and beyond for all my everyday and kitchen stuff, and fortunoffs for all the fancier stuff and giftware......BB&B doesnt have any incentives but i feel like b/c they have the coupons people like them, and fortunoffs has an awesome insentive program if you get their bridal credit card.....i keep having to add stuff to it b/c people keep buying engagements gifts off of it! we're planning a wedding we're poor we need money!!!!

i only registered b/c i didnt want people who did want to buy us a gift to buy us something i didnt like.....i know it sounds selfish, but who wants to put a bunch of mismatched things that may not be your taste all over your house......my advice register for a few things but not everything

Re: Bridal Registry

I was only thinking of doing it because FH bought his house 7 years ago so we pretty much have everything that people usually register for.

Re: Bridal Registry

We're doing Williams & Sonoma and Pampered Chef to upgrade some of kitchen stuff.

BBB -- we're going to need King size sheets for our new bed

Lowe's -- for the big ticket items we really need: snowblower, lawnmover, BBQ grill.

Re: Bridal Registry

I want BB&B & Williams & Sonoma. I used to want Target but I heard they have a really bad return policy.

I didn't register for my e-party but we did tell people that we would eventually be registering at BB&B and a lot of people brought us gift cards so I have a lot of $$$$ to Bed Bath & Beyond and then others just gave cash...and only 3 people out of 100 gave us gifts.

1. was a salad spinner (my fav food is McDonalds W.T.F. am I going to do with a salad spinner!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?) I don't mean to sound ungrateful but I returned it to BB& B and have a store credit for the amount. The people that gave us this gift also asked us like a MILLION times if we were registered and we kept saying no b/c we have no place to put anything at either one of our parents houses...so that if they didn't want to they didn't have to get us anything. And then on the day of our party there she strolls in with her giant box....I was so annoyed.

2. Was a wedding planner book that I LOVE!!!! It's BEAUTIFUL....all white and I added crystals to spell out 'Princess' on it.

3. Was another book that was about weddings etc.I have it in my room...its nice too.

Re: Bridal Registry

I am going to do Fortunoff and Bed Bath and Beyobd. They are great b/c if you get anything off your registry and you decide to retunr it and don't have the receipt they still give you cash anyway! I think I might wait until the summer if not later!
