I think you are thinking of the wedding plaza on the corner of Grand and Merrick. Lillette's is across from Blockbuster on Merrick and it is definitely still there.

Re: Bridal Salon Suggestion
I've been to the Bridal Suite in Huntington twice and they are so nice. The first time I just walked in and they helped me...the second time I made an appt b/c I was going with my BMs. Margie was soooo nice.

I recommend bayshore bridal suite. They have a ton of dresses and the women there are so nice. I got my dress and bridesmaid dresses there.
just wanted to let brides know that my sister didn't have a good experience with bay shore bridal. i truly hope you have a better one.

I got my dress at Huntington Bridal Suite and love it there, I also went to Bayshore Bridal Suite, they were great too. I would stay away from Macys in the Smithhaven Mall. A friend of mine got her dress there and it was so messed up, to the point where a 1 1/2 months beofre her wedding she had to go and get a different dress.

The Wedding Salon in Manhasset!
I second this. When you make an appointment ask for Jordana. She's so nice and knowledgeable!!!! I had a great experience there!

Re: Bridal Salon Suggestion
I recommend two places: 1. David's Bridal - I made an appointment for late morning after they opened on a weekend. Although they give you 1 on 1 attention - it lasts only an hour because they get swarmed on the weekends! My suggestion would be to go on the weekday!
2. Helen's Boutique in Commack (same facility as Wedding WORLD - not Center). I bought my Bridesmaid dresses here and they have a wonderful customer service!!! Their bridal gowns are very similar to David's Bridal and they offer different bargins.

I would either get off at William Floyd Parkway and go North and when you reach 25A, make a LEFT hand turn and it will be down the road on the Left hand side.
or get off at 112 NORTH and take this to Rte 347, make a right onto rte 347 and then merge onto 25A and take the Fantasia Bridal Center that will be on the right hand side of the road.

Well they were really nice trying on, etc....it was afterwards when there were some problems (see review )
One of OUr other sisters used Angels Bridals in East Islip and they were terrific!!!

I would suggest Angel Bridals in East Islip, they are absolutly friendly and have awesome seamstresses. They make you look andfeel great and no pressure sales! I have gotten a few Bridesmaids dresses from them and I intend on getting my dress from them as well!
