I have no idea but I think my mom is going to pay for mine. My cousin might chip in because she is my MOH. I don't know who pays for it though.

it all depends my girls have said they wanted to do the whole thing but my mom voiced an opinion that she wanted to do half... and im thinking that my MIL may also want to do a part... but i could be worng well see!

it def. varries.. my cousin got married and the bp did everything a friend of mine got married and her mom did everything the some of the girls didnt even show

What I heard is that traditionally it is considered a 'fund-raiser' and so it is not right for ANYONE in the brides family to throw it and that friends are supposed to do it...but in the real world...my mom and sister are paying for it lol

I am clueless also. I don't really know but just knowing how my mom is she will want to pay for it all. I know the girls will probably offer also.

I know my mom is going to be the main planner, but I know she's asked my SIL (also my MOH), FSILs, and FMIL for help/suggestions. I know my mom/parents will pay for it.

i aslways thought it was my mom and the MOH ... i figured thats one of the jobs of being MOH ... but one of my BM told me that the whole BP is suppose to pay for it ... i never really heard of this beofre ... i wasnt expecting them all to chip in for it ...i am gald i found out though cause i am in a wedding in Feb. 2 moths before mine and i have to work that in my budget!

It is usually the MOB & the MOH. When my sil got married 3 yrs ago I was the MOH and her mother and I paid for it.

Oh and I am so nosy...3 out of 4 of my BP are OOTers so they dont know places so I am always suggesting places to help out and my one BM said fine, I'll tell you....we booked the Wal-Mart food court at the Massapequa Mall. I have now decided to butt out! ![]()
