Bridal Shower?..

I'm toying with the idea of knowing or not knowing..I'm not sure what I want..my mom was like 'I would think you would want to know so you could put youre eyelashes on' which has got me thinking just curious as to what you girls are doing..TIA!

i'm torn...my mom asked my preference, I told her to make it a surprise, I know that is what she wants

I feel like I will know when it happens, I can't imagine them being able to pull the wool over my eyes, there are no events this summer that they could trick me with, but we'll see... FH is good at surprising me

as far as looking presentable...I told my mother that I would give her a dress, shoes & accessories to have on site the day of the shower!

I want to be surprised. Only thing I know about it is that it's going to be at my mom's house (per my request) and I want a Napaleon cake form Il Topscano in Dougalston (drooool). And obviously I sent my mother the guest list so I know she is inviting the correct people, but other than that, I don't wanna know a thing. I actually just dropped off my shower dress at her house this past weekend so I am prepared for whenever it is.

For my MOH's shower she gave me a dress and shoes months prior and I just brought it day of. She realized through some random things it was the specific day, but we tried to surprise her.

I'd kinda like to know so that I can make sure i'm all ready and dressed nice but one of my MOH's refuses to let me know. she wants it to be a surprise. But I'm still curious how she will actually get away with a surprise my mom has to come in from out of town and its not like we go places I need to be all dolled up for lol

I want to know and i will prob end up planning half of it bc I am sooo anal about decor and stuff, unless I lay it all out for my BMs. however I will be doing two showers, on here and one in CT for my fam that cant make it down to NY

i had to know
fh proposed and i was in pjs and my hair was dirty

its my biggest fear and i just wasnt okay with the element of surprise and not being dressed properly haha

I wanna be surprise. What I'm doing is the following:
- Bought my dress, shoes, accesories, lashes, makeup and gave them to my mom.
- I always have my hair straighten out ont he weekends, so that's no biggie....PLUS
- I'm going to be looking at my bridal registry everyday so I should have some type of idea of when the date is coming.

this exactly! just going to be so hard to trick me FH works the weekends so he'll never be off and the only thing it would be would be FH niece's Christening which I would expect it to be my shower lol I feel like I'll know anyway so what's the point lol

this is my issue too! I am hopign they trick me with another party that I am goign to or something... I dont want to show up somehwere in jeans and a t shirt or soemthing! but i dont want to know either.... haha i might just wear a dress every weekend starting in march. hahah

I would like it to be a surprise but they have to atleast tell me the date because I have to take of from work. With my paralegal job and my second job I work 7 days a week so I have to be able to take off

My shower was a surprise, but let me tell you...it was very easy to figure out.

I would check my registry periodically and things were disappearing, so I knew it was coming. I just decided that I would make sure that I looked cute whenever someone invited me somewhere.

I felt bad that I knew in a way, but it was still a really nice surprise to see all the little things they did.

I always figure out surprises. It's really hard to surprise me. I figure out everything. I'm very observant and I know when ppl are acting weird, especially those close to me. I also work in a hospital and don't have a regular schedule, and it's made way far in advance. So they really have to make sure I have that day, and maybe the day before and after, otherwise I'll be tired and cranky. I doubt it will be a big fancy thing either. Probably at someone's house.
