Does anyone have any suggestions for a place for a bridal shower

How many people? WHo is paying? Where is the wedding- don't want to upstage that? What type of person is the bride?

My sis (just married) is a simple girl. She would have loved it in the house- too many people for mom and I- and the new light carpet, so we had it in the club house room at the condo.

It really depends on the bride.

I had my sister's shower at Milk & Sugar Cafe in Bay Shore. It was amazing! People are still talking about it 5 months later. The place is so cute and a lot of fun.

We looked into the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip for my MOH's bridal shower in March, I think it was about 21pp. we had it at Katie Dalys in Massapequa for about the same. The food was good and our hostess was great! we had it on a Sunday afternoon!

I just had my sister's baby shower at Jon Thomas Inne in Brightwaters, and everyone said it was wonderful. A sit down luncheon, soup, salad, choice of 3 entrees, coffee and soda 14.95pp.

I am looking for Nassau or Suffolk. Not sure how many people just yet. I think around 60 will actually come.

I say The Country House in Stony Brook. Or Pasta Pasta in Port Jeff. I've been to bridal showers at both places and they were wonderful!

mine was held at the George Washington Manor. I threw my sister's at the Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club in Manhassett. My sil's was at Cafe on the Green in Bayside.
