bridal shower attire
What is the attire for your bridal shower. If you know about it what are you going to wear?

Re: bridal shower attire
I wore a cute skirt and tank top. I thought I was going to a surprise party for my aunt. I was stressing that I would not be dressed for my bridal shower. My familiy wouldn't say a word but my inlaws are all about appearance and I really wouldn't want to hear it for the next 10 years!

Re: bridal shower attire
I kind of knew about my shower althought it was supposed to be a surprise. I wore dress pants with a nice top.For my sister's shower last year, I knew we would get her, so I asked her to give me an outfit a couple of months before and good thing she did b/c she showed up in shorts and flip flops. She thought she was going to her friend's country club to sit by the pool and have lunch....heheheheh.
Maybe you can choose an outfit and give it to a friend or family member.

Re: bridal shower attire
I agree with Scoop.. That is a good idea! A friend of mine's sister and mother picked out an outfit for her so she could change into when she got to the shower! I thought it was a pretty nifty idea, I never heard of that before
But, I'd do what scoop suggested, pick out an outfit and give it to someone to bring to the shower, whenever that may be

Re: bridal shower attire
I was originally going to wear a little black wrap dress but I figured that might be too much of a giveaway that I 'knew'. So I changed into a black top and a more casual skirt.

Re: bridal shower attire
Dress pants and a shirtEveryone knows I accidentally found out, even my mother, so people will expect that I be dressed for the day.
They WERE going to tell me (since I was under the impression that it was my brother's birthday lunch)
to make sure I don't look like a bum because he wants to take some pics of the family together.
Too bad I foundout, because they DID have me going.
Stupid friends I have. oh well.

Re: bridal shower attire
I thought I knew about my shower, but wasn't sure. When my friend picked me up, she was dressed up and that's what tipped me off.I was wearing jeans and a sweater, but I changed when I saw what she was wearing into dress pants and a little jacket.

Re: bridal shower attire
Claud, did you then walk in surprised??? I know about my shower but the people who told me are actually still trying to hide it. I am going to feel foolish walking in and faking it, I think it is next weekend.Welcome New Vendors
