Bridal Shower/Bachlorette Party Problems

My MOH has never been in a wedding and she has not attended a lot of wedding during her life. So there was some talk a few months ago about my bridal shower and bachelorette party which I had heard about. (My BM tried to explain that we need to start discussing the bridal shower but she was not understanding it, she kept saying bachlorette party) My MOH cannot wait until the bachelorette party. My MOH requested that I give her a list of people to invite which I gave her a couple of weeks ago. (There was only 15 people which I thought was fine, I felt she thought that that was too many people) I think that my MOH is still totally confused between the difference between a Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party. She said that she has never heard of anyone getting both, people usually get one. I had told her that everyone I know had both. So know I told a bridesmaid to discuss with her better. I know I'm not supposed to be involved with it but I am. My wedding is in less than 2 months and I don't think that she has even started doing anything for the Bridal Shower. Other than getting my bridesmaid involved is there anything else I should do. I suggested to my bm that she do my bridal shower and let my MOH take care of my bachlorette party. I know that my MOH does not have a lot of money but I figured that she could get the other bm's to chip in and have it at someones apartment.

Considering she has never attended one and doesn't seem very interested in learning the customs on her own: I think you have done the right thing by encouraging your other BMs to take the lead. If not them, what about your mom or other friend?

I think there is a website like Maidofhonor or maitronofhonor.com I know my MOH was on it to see what she should do and there is bestman.com. Maybe somehow you can tell her about it...That might help.
