The last time we thought up of an idea to have committees for the bridal shower and it caused some drama but this time....Since we are set with the date and location of the 2009 Bridal Shower (Thanks Mich!!!) we should re-visit the idea of having committees for the Bridal Shower.
The ideas of the committees will allow everyone who wants to participate in certain activities that opportunity as well as provide some organization to the event. These were the following committees that had been identified and those that wanted to be involved at that time. This list is living and for all those that want to be involved and aren’t shown please let me know and we can add/delete certain committees if we come to a consensus that it wouldn’t be necessary.

I know there are lots of girls who would like to be involved and haven’t voiced themselves yet or are new and weren’t aware of this idea. Please don’t view this as a final listing. Everyone’s opinions and ideas are valued and appreciated. I think all of us 09'ers want this event to be a great bonding experience with as little drama as possible.

I started a thread yesterday and spoke to Michelle regarding the secret bride portion of the shower. From what I could tell everyone was ok with me heading it up and Michelle and I disussed how it could work. Dani sent me and FM last night expressing interest to do it with me so I think two would be enough but I do not want anyone to be left out. I think part of secret bride should include the grab bag for the wishing well. I could take care of the registeries - I actually know which 08 brides did this so I could ask for their help too.
I can't wait for the shower!!!
If anyone else wants to help with the secret bride part let me know

I really realy really hate to do this but If we think that 2 people is enough for seceret bride then I wuoldnt take anymore for that committe because we already have 3 girls that expressed interest as the above post plus you thats 4 people! so maybe we can break up the 4 of you and have 2 of you do the seceret santa and 2 of you work on the grab bag gift idea and keep track of how many people are goign to bring one. Im not sure if thats ok with the above girls but I would check with them first.... this is just my opinion but let me know what you think girls

I'm willing to help with anything. The only thing I can say is I'm not that crafty so DIY isn't the best for me.

I had said last time that I would be happy to switch off secret bride so there were only 2 people and nobody was upset! I'll help out some other way!

Also, I sent an FM to both Michelle and Dani saying that we needed at least 3 people.
2 people needed to work on secret bride - we'd spilt the list in half. If no one else wants to do this I believe Dani and I can work well together but if this has already been discussed I don't want to cause problems.
1-2 people are needed to organize the grab bag/wishing well even game gifts. We need to make sure we have enough stuff for that part of the shower too.

I know this whole shower thing got out of hand before so I think we are all trying to do the right thing this time. Im not sure there were three girls above that were listed to do seceret santa. one if them Lauren said that if we have to many people she would be happy to help in another area. so I sent the other 2 girls FM to make sure they still want to be a part of it. SO with the othet 2 girls and you that would make 3 of you. I wouldnt think that you would need more then 3 people so we can either break it up and take one of the girls and make them in charge of the grab bag... but I wanted to check with them first since they are already down for the commitee
