Bridal Shower Committee Resurrection

The last time we thought up of an idea to have committees for the bridal shower and it caused some drama but this time....Since we are set with the date and location of the 2009 Bridal Shower (Thanks Mich!!!) we should re-visit the idea of having committees for the Bridal Shower.

The ideas of the committees will allow everyone who wants to participate in certain activities that opportunity as well as provide some organization to the event. These were the following committees that had been identified and those that wanted to be involved at that time. This list is living and for all those that want to be involved and aren’t shown please let me know and we can add/delete certain committees if we come to a consensus that it wouldn’t be necessary.

Favors
Secret Bride (2-3 people is sufficient to keep the secret )
Activities
DIY
Decorations
Photography

These are the people that have expressed interest in the groups:

I know there are lots of girls who would like to be involved and haven’t voiced themselves yet or are new and weren’t aware of this idea. Please don’t view this as a final listing. Everyone’s opinions and ideas are valued and appreciated. I think all of us 09'ers want this event to be a great bonding experience with as little drama as possible.

As of what I know - I wasn't part of the first go 'round a couple of weeks ago so I am not 100% sure who expressed interest but I know Dani (MrsSin2009) FMed me last night saying she expressed interest from the beginning and wanted to work with me. I thought the two of us could do the registry/secret bride part of the shower. Then we need two girls I guess Maureen and whoever else expressed interested to head up the grab bag/wishing well. I don't know if there are any other people interested. We could even use 3 ppl for the grab bag part, I think

Dani (MrsSin 2009) and I could work on the secret bride together but I do think we need at least two people possibly Maureen and someone else working on the grab bag

I agree but I don't want to hurt any feelings. This is everyone that expressed interest, yes?

What about Kristin, LongIslandLib - when I signed up in October she and I were both very excited for the 09 shower. Has she mentioned anything?

I agree and I also dont want to cause any problems or leave anyone else out.. but we do have to consider the girls that expressed interest already when we discussed this not to long ago on here so we dont want to forget about them and we also dont want to over kill the project...too many people might make it more complicated then it has to be so I woul dhope that we are all mature enough to understand that and that they are welcome to help in lots of orther ways you know.

in this comittee and then as time goes on you girls might need another person so Jayla can be like a stand by ( dont mean it in a bad way!) so that way if/when you need extra help you have somone there

I agree... it doesnt seem like everyone is on right now so I might be forgetting someone BUT I went by what was on the list . if there is someone we left out im sorry it wasnt on purpose and let one of us know that way we can either put you in or something else.
