Re: Bridal Shower Favors
hmm well one i got was actually at a baby shower but it could work anywhere. it was a mini bottle of water with one of those lipton to-go mixes, and some mints, altoids, tea bags, candies. and some other stuff in those clear bags with ribbons and a gift tag i thought it was a great idea and i used it all

What I did was have my sister/the host (I knew about the shower because it was done at my apt hahaha) collect a few recipes from each of my guests. And then she printed and bound all of them into little cookbooks to give out to each guest.

I went to a tea party @ Lady Mendl's and the favor were chocolate truffles from Vosges They came in this beautiful Chinese takeout box. The flavors were incredible. Wasabi chocolate, Ginger, Hungarian Paprika. But they also had amazing caramel ones...

I also made soaps for my friend's shower. I had amazing 'flavors' some were oatmeal honey, lavendar etc. They were a total pain in the a@! to make. I made them in all different shapes (it was a baby shower so it was baby blocks etc.) But the outcome was great. Tied them up with rafia and a personalized tag. All the ladies loved here. Here's an idea. every couple of months bath and body works has the HUGE sale. What about some the Bigelow products. Or, if your MOH if adventurous, there is a L'Occitane outlet in Woodbury Commons that has amazing travel size, beautifully wrapped soaps etc for like 2 dollars each...

Re: Bridal Shower Favors
the last shower I attended, I received the little heart shaped measuring spoons. I love them and use them often. It's great for a shower because it really is a gift that only women will use (well for the most part)

no you just know what you want, I'm sure you can find other shapes. Maybe you can give it with a muffin mix or something so it's related to the measuring spoons
