Bridal shower game suggestions......

I was not in favor of a bridal shower but my girls were not having it. My question to you ladies are what are some fun games to play during? I am going to have FIL's family there of some I have not met and just don't want to sit there. Awkward = /

my sister did a newlywed game for me and asked my FH questions ahead of time.. another fun game was 'what the bride wore' where my sister asked me to leave and then asked everyone what type of earrings was a wearing, shoes, was my hair up or down, etc. and then I came back in and whoever got the most right won the game

and we also did BINGO- my sister had everyone fill in gifts they think i will open and as i open it they cross it out and whoever got bingo first won

How well do the party go-ers know the bride...Not sure of the title of that, but basically everyone guessed my age, birthday, favorite vacation spot, where I met FH, how long we have been together, etc.

And whats in your purse is always fun! The person who gets the most points for having the most items on the list in their purse wins a prize. Everyone loved these games at my shower.

On a personal note, I do not recommend any games that require full on participation. At my cousins shower, she had guests getting up to do toilet paper bridal looks, putting on tights with oven mits on. My grandma was so critical that day haha. People like to stay in their seats and perhaps win a prize or two. IMHO

Would it be wrong if I should mention this to my girls. I just feel bad because I don't want them to have to spend more money than they have to. I had offered to cook even purchase decorations if need be. I just feel so bad.

I don't think that's wrong to mention to them- it's your shower. You could just say that you saw some cute games if they want to do them at your shower and just explain that you don't want anything too out there or something that would require them to spend alot of money.

Games are kind of a must at bridal showers because a lot of times people get bored unless they have something to do. Bingo is really great because it gives people something to do while you're opening gifts, which is fun for you, but boring to everyone else (LOL just being honest). Prizes don't have to be expensive at all.

Just Google bridal shower games and there are print outs with questions about the bride they fill in then you answer them and see who gets the most right.

With the how well does the bride know the groom someone asks groom questions write answer down then asks the bride in front of everyone if she gets wrong put a gumball in mouth lol it gets funny. So many games have fun
