Bridal Shower Games..

I'm having a hard time remembering if you're supposed to play games or not at a shower?

I know the last one I went to had bridal bingo (but it kinda ******, haha) and I'm wondering if I should plan some activities for the shower I'm throwing?

Please help!

I like games. At the last shower I was at they made a 'Honey Do' List and you had to check off whether each was the bride's responsibilty, the groom's, both, or if neither did it. It was so cute and so funny!

Yeah I'd have to agree with you about the bridal bingo. I went to a shower that had that and no one seemed to enjoy it! There was one game where they gave out a questionare with questions about the bride and groom, like how they met, who asked who out, stuff like that and whoever answered the most correctly got a prize. I thought that game was cute.

ask the bride questions about her FH to see how well she knows him. You give the questions to her fh to answer before the shower. Then at the shower you ask her the questions about him and for every wrong answer you stick a big piece of gum in her mouth.

Toilet paper bride-you give each table rolls of toilet paper and they pick one person at the table to be the bride and they all have to make a wedding dress for her out of the toilet paper. We did this for my friends shower, after they were all done, the toilet paper brides did a little catwalk and the bride picked the best one.

My sisters made a sheet of all questions about FH and I, some were funny and the winners got a gift! Another game they had was they put pics of really ugly guys in easter eggs and 3 of my FH and whoever got my FH won. And another one was a naked guy scratch-off! haha

The groom and I were emailing one another back and forth to get the answers so I would have them.

well, i may as well give you my input.... heeeheeeee i like this game above, we played it at Nat's shower and it was hysterical. You'll have to chat with Ben one night this week

Ive played this before... and no one really knew the bride that well on the groom's side... so it was such a waste... and really made you think that we knew nothing about the person he was marrying

BUT i do have to disagree about the bingo game... maybe its bc my fam is a bunch of gambling addicts, but we loved the bingo game!!!! it all depends on what type of crowd you have

I agree... I dont really like shower games either. I do have to say that we did the toilet paper bride and we actually had fun with that one. But, I will not be asking my BMs to do it at my shower because my first thought when I saw it was 'Wow, what a waste of toilet paper' LOL But again, it was a fun game.

I just want maybe ONE game played at my shower, and something cute. I liked the Honey Do list someone mentioned on this thread...anyone know where to get the list online? That sounded like a cute game

We did this at my MOH's shower, but we had men there too so they were our 'models' - it was hysterical! They were such good sports!
