FH and I live together and already have most of the stuff we need. we buy stuff off our registry for b-days and holidays so there is not a whole lot left on there. we really like the art work at pier one and need stuff from home depot to work on our home. is it worng to ask for the bridal shower invitations to inculde the regitry and a note saying we would also like gift cards to peir one and home depot? if thats ok, how would it be worded?

is there a way you can register for the stuff you want at home depot? this way you can just write 'registry at home depot' and get the stuff you need from there. i would not ask for gift cards, thats JMO

I think the only way to do it would either A. Have a Gift Card Shower where you can expect ONLY gift cards. or B. Tell your MOH that you would like a few and maybe the BP could get you a few rather than gift.

keep in mind you can put gift cards on you registry... so register for some stuff maybe at home depot and also register for gift cards there!

the problem is you can't register at home depot or pier one...
