my mom keeps dropping hints that she is having a hard time finding a place for a shower, due to the 80 women that have to come! any suggestions that i can descreetly drop to her for places in queens and or long island (but not way out east)??
by the way to the GM girlfriends need to be invited?

I just hosted my sister's bridal shower at Milleridge Inn. We had 45 people, but the room (the Garden Room) could easily have held more. They also have other rooms there that can hold more people.
The food and service were great. Both my family and the groom's family have received a number of phone calls from guests complimenting us on the shower.

Maybe the Milleridge Carriage House?
Also, FH was a GM in his close friend's wedding in July and I wasn't invited to the bride's shower. You can choose to invite whoever you want - I don't think you have to invite the GF's if you don't want to.
