I'm not big on surprises and i'm sure my MOH will go nuts if I tell her I want to be involved, LOL
So, I was thinking... how many people want to know about their shower, help plan or want to be totally surprised?

I would have loved to be surprised, but my mom and MOH are hosting it here in DC while they live in Northport! So they needed some help- my best gay is helping them, as is FMIL (a little), but I ended up picking the place and negotiating the price since my sister had no idea where to do it and if it were up to FMIL it would be over an hour away in her basement...
They will take it from there, though. So I know the date and location- and most of the guest list.

I want to be completely surprised. I did make a few requests - that it be held in my mom's house and that my cake be a napoleon cake from il Toscano's on Dougalston parkway (I just drooled a little!). And I also made up the invite list and gave it to my mom - but besides that, I don't want to know a thing!

Mines not a surprise (I insisted that it not be) but im not involved in the planning
