My FH and I had a big engagement party- basically to satisfy his parents. Now I'm having a shower because that is what i want. But now i barely have anything left on my registry. Any suggestions?

Re: Bridal Shower- Registry
Well..there is always a lingerie shower, stock the pantry shower, stock the bar.....
But honestly..I know you got everything from your registry..but could you register for more. Did you do kitchen gadgets. Serveware for entertaining. I mean...don't be bashful..this is a time where people want to buy you things. So if you did indeed register for everything, and got everything...be creative.
there is always home improvements and window treatments at home depot or jcpenny homestore.
honeymoon registry.
or just do lingerie.

I'm with Nina here. I've lived on my own for nearly 10 years so I've accumulated a lot of things. You can never have enought bed linens, towels, kitchen gadgets and home decor. Expand your registry to places like Pier One, Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn that offer lots of home decoration (area rugs, prints, lamps, candles, vases). If you own a home a Home Depot Registry can be great.
I know some family members think an HM registry is tacky but if your's is cool with it I recommend that too. Personally I WISH my mom and FMIL would have been ok with it.

Take a walk through the store and see if there is anything else that you may need. Remember, this is to help you start your lives together!
