so girls does anyone know when...where...and what your shower will be like???
who is giving you your shower??? how do you think it will be??
i am so sure my shower will be at the same place RH my sisters shower was....im sure it will be at least about 100pp and and im sure it will be about 2 months prior to my wedding so prob september and it will be fabulous
im sure i wont be suprised because i find everything out
but i am definitly looking forward to it i think shwers are fun

I dont know when, but I am thinking about a year from now. I know that my MOH and mom were worried that I would want something extravagant,, which I know they can not afford at this point,, so while talking it over w MOH I told her that I would love to have it at a place like a Fire house or the club house where my mom lives- I have about 95-100 women to invite..

i have no idea what its going to be like - im pretty sure ill have one.....FMIL threw FSIL a huge shower and it was beautiful - my Mom lives in Florida and doesnt have any $ so I don't know if she can even afford to give me one - I am assuming my Mom and FMIL will eventually talk about it - and then plan something......I just hope if they do something that it is a surprise......i LOVE surprises and I never had a party just for me - let alone a surprise party - so I 'd really like that....I would imagine that there would be about 50 people or so.....who knows - I'll have a long while before I find out!

Well my show won't be for another year, but my mom talks about it ALL the time in front of me! She tells me about invitations, asks about places I might want to have it, what favors to give out, what games and prizes. She is always asking what I did for showers I have helped plan or have gone to! She is too funny! I tell her all the time that I don't want to know about anything, so stop talking about it in front of me.
Unfortunately, she has no one else to help her at this point. My sister is still away at school until next June, my mom hasn't been in touch with FMIL or FSIL yet and the other BM is my 16 y.o. cousin! LOL...I'm hoping my sister, FSIL, FMIL and my aunt/cousin will help her when the time comes to really start planning!
And it will probably be sometime next August/September, I'm assuming!

I know when and where mine will be. I wasn't supposed to, but there was all of this uproar about who was doing what. I have been engaged for over a year and people started fighting about it in January and I got so overwhelmed I almost eloped. (Mind, no one at this point gave a **** about throwing an EP or the RD and what I really wanted to begin with was an EP, but whatever.
I think at this point the mothers of are throwing it together, and fighting it out amongst themselves. There are going to be about 50 people there, half of which I may have met once or twice and so it's going to be one big exercise in name recall, which I don't do so well at to begin with. i am not used to all this attention. Anyway, no need to open up old wounds: there is one good thing about it, I will be all ready with a new outfit--no suprises.

Well, think of it this way, that's a whole bunch less thank you cards you have to write out and you won't have to wear the stupid hat made of bows.

i hate surprises so my mom and bm's were told that i really didnt want a surprise unless absolutely neccessary.. so they decided they would tell me.. time date and place that way i know when to get pretty and when to show up.. i know that my moms mostly throwing it with help from my girls.. and it will be at a chinese resturant with that as the theme... fortune cookie favors, chinese food box invites.. the works... (im a huge chinese food lover) so i LOVE the idea!
ETA: it will prob be from 60-75 people (crazy i know but FH has a huge family with alot of women)

My MOH and Mom will probably plan the shower together. I know it will be someplace local like the NHP INN. I do want to know when it is so I don't get caught wearing a T-shirt and old jeans lol
