bridal showers...

bridal showers...

so girls does anyone know when...where...and what your shower will be like???

who is giving you your shower??? how do you think it will be??

i am so sure my shower will be at the same place RH my sisters shower was....im sure it will be at least about 100pp and and im sure it will be about 2 months prior to my wedding so prob september and it will be fabulous

im sure i wont be suprised because i find everything out

but i am definitly looking forward to it i think shwers are fun

i will be lucky if i have 20 people at my shower - it is a surprise and my mother is throwing it for me. I am thinking in November or Jan.

Ya - i won't have 20 people there!!!

It's at my parents' house & it's on October 13th. I'm curious as to how my MOH will get me there - but it's being thrown by my BP & my mom...

ETA: it's supposed to be a surprise - but FH dropped the date & my mom dropped the location...

i like house showers because then there are no time limits on them....fun

I totally should - i should tell them my colonoscopy was moved to that afternoon - they'd FREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's not exactly something you can move! HA!!!!

Awww - no FH did it on accident!! My mom did it on purpose!!!

I was looking at tickets for a show and said - oh - what about the 13th and FH went NO - really like, NO FRIGGIN WAY....i was like - oh dear....and he realized it and felt TERRIBLE!!!

I am thinking it is the local coffee shop that is really cool and I love going too or a local irish pub/restaurant my mom hates to have people over our house when its more then like 10.

My problem is there are only really 27 women that you can invite to my shower the rest are OOT so I am figuring not all of them are showing that is for sure - so maybe 10, 15-20 if i am VERY lucky.

well i know my mom and MOH went to look at places last week lol. My mom is paying but MOH is helping to plan it, and FMIL said she will help just not sure with what yet, well i wont know hahahaha since im not part of the planning.

I have absolutely NOOOO clue where they have been looking or what places they have in mind. As far as what it will be like, my moh asked me what themes i like and i told her a couple so who knows which one they'll end up picking. I am guessing it will be between jan-march lol

i made up the guest list and have 75 ppl as of now, have to give to my mom to add anyone im forgetting that she would like to invite.

my sis/MOH is planning the shower. I have absolutely no idea of the who, whats, whens or wheres of anything and I want it that way. I have a tendancy to take over things I get my hands on. She hasn't asked for any input so she may not be getting started yet but I've dropped hints. My friend at work has graciously volunteered her home but I think my sister wants a restaurant so we'll see. I have utmost confidence in her...she is extreeeemly methodical....almost to a fault lol

My mother and some close friends are planning mine. I haven't finalized the list. we are only inviting close family and friends. as of now I don't know anything. and would like to keep it that way. I have never had surprises and was pushing to know what was going to happen if there was a shower or not and if they needed my help and now im just going to wait for the surprise.

I have a feeling that mine is going to be in January sometime. Of course no one is telling me even though I made it very clear in the beginning that I don't care about it being a surprise, actually, I'd really rather know in advance so I can mentally prepare. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to it, I just have major issues with handing over the reigns (I'm a control freak) and since it's 'my' party, it's going to be tough for me to just sit down and not take over.

also im guessing it will be alittle different not VERY traditional, my MOH likes things that are not TOOO traditional and so do i so its a good thing. She goes to more weddings and showers than most ppl and after a while they all seem alike to her so she wants to make it more interactive and have a different feel to it.

my mom is throwing my shower, it's gonna be late november early december. the main reason i know is because it all depends on when my in-laws come from greece. i'm thinking there is gonna be about 60 -70 people i think.

I had to know when my bridal shower is because my whole bridal party lives oot (even parents ). So my stepmom and sisters planned it for Jan. 5 somewhere in Farmingdale. I wll also have my bach party that weekend.
