Bridal Suite---I think I may throw up!

I was reading some older threads and came upon a bride's bad experience with Bridal Suite of patchogue. Needless to say, I have ordered my dress through there as well as the BM dresses. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous. Please let me know some of some positive experiences there so that I can get some sleep!

I didn't go there but just wanted to say that no place will have all positive reviews.
I got my dress from a place that got a lot of negative feedback from people and everything was fine.

I haven't had any experiences there but I think one of the Greek brides did. We have a thread going on the 04 page if you'd like to join in. We love new people!

I am sorry first that was an old thread that was pulled up but it is all true! There are a lot of girls that have had problems with them lately!! I wish I had done a search on the bridal boards.

When did you order your dress?

Make sure you get a copy of the confirmation of order!! Do not just go by Bea's word!!!

Call EVERY MONTH until your dresses are in!!

Please feel free to FM me if there are any problems my Mother would LOVE TO go there and scream for you!

Thanks Swags! I ordered my dress the last week of April along with my headpiece. I am going to call them tomorrow. As for the BM dresses I ordered them in June. However, I never received anything about a confirmation. What should I ask for? I think perhaps I should go there instead of just calling. Maybe your mom wants to come with me?

If there are problems Mom would love to come. I will come too after she reimburses my girls!!

Tell her you want proof that she ordered your dresses and head piece. You want a copy of the order that was sent to the manuf.!! Tell her if she will not do this that you want your money back!!

Did you read all 3 threads??? If not I will give you a brief run down of what happened?? Let me know!

I think I read them all. Fittings okay? Do you think they will treat me differently or (badly) if I start demanding all this info. I am not very good with confrontation. I either don';t confront at all or I go overboard.

Tell them that you are a nervous bride and that you need this information to make you feel better. Do not tell them what you read! Save me incase you need it!!

I just wanted to let you know that I have had a good experience with Bridal Suite so far. I ordered my dress months before and it did take a while to come in, but it came in way before I needed it. My veil came in on time and they attached the head piece perfectly. The sales people were always very helpful, especially Irene. She spent so much time with me and I spoke to her periodically to find out when my dress was coming in. So far the fittings have been ok, but my final fitting is tomorrow. I hope this eases your mind! Don't worry, just stay on top of them!
