who is it with? I would just make a point to tell them your budget and be sure they stick to it. And have fun!

Loved MaryEllen. She is very thorough and takes her time with you.

Honestly, I would call and confirm. I worked with Mary Ellen and she was great.

I worked with Annie for bridesmaid dresses and she is AWEFUL. Lets put it this way. I had 6 girls measured. Annie was pissed because we were not putting the order in that day. When I went back all of the measurements that Annie took were missing.

So I just called and they said there is no sales person appointed to me. *** They were like dont worry we will have someone to help you. Why does this always happen to me.

If you get Tamy she is wonderful!!!!!

I found my dress somewhere else but went back to Tamy to buy it with her, and I am so glad, she has been a pleasure to work with each time I go back concerning BM dresses and accessories. And I've gone back A LOT! Am supposed to go again this Sunday but I think I may not be able to because of the hurricane! lol

Good luck and have fun!!

I would call back and tell them that you want to work with Mary Ellen (or Tammy if others had a good experience with her). Tell them what you want. I am sure they will do it!

Actually I know for a fact Tamy works Thursday evenings until close, usually alone with this other super nice girl at the desk. I've gone several times on thursday nights. Tell her I say hello!! hehe

I have had horrible experiences with this place...I have known 2 brides who had to do extra fittings because they took the dress in too much. I also was in a bridal party, where I had to buy the bridesmaids dress there and I took it to a private seamstress to have it taken in and the other girls had it done there...DISASTER...didn't fit them right, most dresses were too big and the straps were falling...a mess...I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I got my dress at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa...they are WONDERFUL...I love Nicole!!!!!

Attentive, Knowledgeable and happy!

Well I just got back. Guess who helped me????? Annie. She was ok but I didn't find one single dress that I loved. It's not easy being a plus size bride. There were not that many to choose from and I felt like they all looked the same. I feel like I did better at David's Bridal. So can anyone suggest any other place that have a lot of plus size dresses.

She was really nice to me during my appt but then when I couldn't make up my mind she made me feel very pressured, and it ruined the whole experience. It doesn't matter what size you are, they should make you feel comfortable! When I went to village bridal in babylon they had a huge selection, so maybe they have a lot of options. Can't hurt to ask!

I love the dress that they have in the window. i bought my dress pretty quick from Davids. They called me yesterday to tell me it was in. I'm so nervous. What the heck am i going to do with this dress for a year. Hope that one night i dont have a few drinks and decide to walk around the house in it

Re: Bridal Suite of Bayshore

I tried on about 5 gowns at Bayshore and found the ONE, which shocked me. It is harder being plus sized but there are options.

Go to Village Bridal. They are all mixed into the racks there, but they did have at least 5-10 gowns over size 16 to try. Most were Venus, but I did try a Maggie and a few other designers as well.

If you dont mine picking through a crowded rack in a way too crowded store, Wedding Center in Commack had a few plus gowns. I tried an Allure that could have worked had I not fallen in love in Bayshore.

FM for more info if you want. HTH!
