Bride Wars reviews... not good

the front page of yahoo said 'Bride Wars' busted...

then when you click on the story, they review a bunch of movies. this is what they said about Bride wars...

Stars Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway (who's on virtually every critic's list as a probable Oscar nominee for her role in 2008's 'Rachel Getting Married') are lifelong BFFs who've obsessively dreamt about their 'perfect day.' One would think that this combination of topic and talent would result in a can't-miss romantic comedy not unlike, say, 'The Wedding Planner.' But, judging from the reviews, the movie missed its mark. Rafer Guzman of Newsday writes, 'Hathaway and Hudson, both natural charmers, are reduced to female stereotypes in this outdated comedy,' while Anne Hornaday of the Washington Post minces no words: 'This thoroughly joyless movie also possesses a deep nasty streak, making it loathsome when it might have been merely annoying.' Does all this mean Ms. Hathaway may be kissing Oscar goodbye?

I'm still going to go see it. I think the movie is trying to capitalize off of that whole Bridezilla's thing which would make it the stereotypical movie. I think that it should be pretty funny. I love watching Bridezillas, although I don't plan to be one, lol.

I hate when people review movies the really stupid ones they give 3 or 4 stars and everything else they say stinks.

I never go by the reviews. usually the ones they give 4 stars I dont like and the ones they pan I love. I am still going to see it.

I saw the movie tonight!
I thought it was great! It made me laugh!!!! Me and my MOH went together! It was her idea !

I saw it tonight too, I mean it was typical uber chick flick but if you are into that it was not bad, I really liked it for what it was, it had a decent story and my friend (one of my BM's) and I really liked it! It made us more excited about the wedding too lol
