OMG! I cannot believe what I was hearing this morning on the way to work!!
This bride to be calls up the Z morning Zoo and tells them that she’s getting married in a few weeks so everything is pretty much done.
One of her friends and bride’s maids has recently put on a lot of weight due to emotional problems in her life. So this B2B wants her out of the wedding party because she is too fat and will ruin her pics. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??! What a b*tch!!
I hope she has a flood of rain on her wedding day. I would never normally wish such a thing on anyone, but she isn’t human. How can anyone be so insensitive?? If her friend has emotional problems now, how do you think she will take that kind of news?
Thoughts?

I'm not surprised. There have been tons of of posts like that on this site....not necessarily asking the BM's of MOH to step down due to weight gain either but pregnancy too

I know! I can't believe ANYONE with a heart would agree with her! All the DJ's were even telling her how wrong she was. I'm sorry, but that is just downright heinous! She'll get hers.

WHAT A B****. I cant believe someone could be that rude. If this is one of your bm, this would be one of your closest friends. How could you do that.

I was just thinking the same way Being a plus sized girl, I have seen both sides.... people who care about you becaise of who you are, not because of what size pants you wear... then there are the others that see a big girl and just get disgusted. If it were so easy to be thin EVERYONE would be thin... People can be so cruel.
I hope this bride has the worst day of her life... and if it's in a few weeks - pray for a Nor:Easter

Re: Bride-zilla on Z-100 this morning
Speaking as someone who used to weigh 260 pounds at a size 24, I am appalled that someone would treat a person that way. I am now 147 pounds and a size 10 but I am very sensitive to people who are heavy. The scars of childhood taunting and the endless looks of scorn and mockery as an obese adult are still there. Sometimes I even feel like a fat girl in a thin girl's body - something that many may not understand.
That being said, I wouldnt care if my best friend weighed 400 pounds. She is still my best friend. I am having three adults and two teens in my bridal party. My MOH is about a size 14/16 and quite self conscious about her weight. I asked her straight out what style of dress would make her most comfortable. After gathering her specs on a dress, I have been searching for something that she would like as well as that would look good on all of the other ladies too.
THIS is what a friend means to me and being a good friend, is not about what someone looks like. It is not about the pictures looking 'just right'. It is about honor and respect and accepting someone for who they are. I was never felt accepted in society until I was thin. People treated me very different as a fat person than they do now as a thin person. I could be here for hours comparing my experiences. Like it or not, the real world is cruel to overweight people. This person (the bridesmaid) does not need a person in her life to point out her shortcomings. I am sure she is plenty aware. As for the bride, what comes around goes around. She will get hers in the end! I can bet on it. Shame on her!

That's so cruel and mean. Those people are there to share the day with you, how can you be like that to them.

My thoughts EXACTLY!
I wanted to call in and say my advice was to find her FH and tell him to run like the wind - he's in big trouble with that one!!

Re: Bride-zilla on Z-100 this morning
A very incentive girl. Regardless of size, proper undergarments works wonders. Being a plus sized woman, I made sure that my undergarments worked well with my gown. I actually looked so much thinner and felt wonderful. I spent $130 on my undergarments that were perfect for my size (16) and gown AND I traveled to LI (250 miles) to Blums in Patchogue with my gown so I could measured properly. I was going through a difficult time in my life also.
This bride obviously doesn't see the real person that she is nor is she seeing the real person in her BM. Maybe she should offer words of encouragement instead of criticism and knocking her down. Its awful!
