bridemaid hair

So i was talking to one of my bridesmaid and she is like I only go to my salon and i dont trust many people. LAter on i said that I want all my bridesmaid hair to be done the same way. I personally dont care how its done, i just want it to be the same. They all have short hair so that not a big deal. She looked at me like i had 2 heads.

Is this an unreasonable request? I never even though of them having different hair (MAYBE the maid of honor)
Are you requesting that all your bridesmaids have the same hairstyle?

my girls had their hair done as they wanted it. I never asked them to do it any specific way........

I don't think your being unreasonable, I have yet to decide about my bridesmaids hair - but they should be willing to please you on your big day, they would want the same when it's thier turn.

My BM's are all doing something different, it's their choice. Personally, I would be annoyed if someone decided how I have to do my hair.

I did not do that. Everyone has different tastes and I wanted my BM to feel comfortable and beautiful. They may not feel comfortable in the same hair style, even though they all have the same hair length.

ETA: I too would be a little annoyed if someone decided that for me. As long as their hair looks nice and is neat looking, that's all that really matters.

I am requesting my bm wear their hair all up or half/up -half/down, I just don't want them to have plain hair like they would wear to the mall...

I agree with the others... I think telling the BMs they have to wear their hair the same way is taking the uniformed look thing a bit too far. My girls are wearing the same dress and jewelry, other than that they can pick whatever they want for hair, shoes, nails, etc.

I absolutely agree.

Honestly, there are just some things I don't understand... I mean, don't you pick these people because you care for them? Shouldn't that mean that you appreciate the things that make them unique?

Why do so many brides feel the need to make their bridal party into a bunch of clones? No matter what you do, unless all of your bridesmaids are identical triplets or something, there will be variation - why not let them be themselves and be comfortable? It's one thing to ask them to wear a dress... but there's got to be a limit! They're people, not barbie dolls for you to dress up!
