Re: brides gown color
I havent found my dress yet...but will likely get ivory. I have a pink skin tone and read that ivory would be a better choice. No clue if it's true or not until I try on dresses

Re: brides gown color
very pretty! I myself am getting an ivory dress. I am very pale (like, the only light skinned italian out there LOL) and i wouldn't look good against a white dress.

Re: brides gown color
i would go with ivory in that dress.. white may look to white and since its victorian style the ivory would be more elegant IMO.. :)

I think with your skin tone, white would look better. It would be a nice contrast.

Re: brides gown color
i'm pretty fair skinned and i found that ivory looked much better with my skin tone, the white kind of washed me out....is there anyway to try it on in both colors? or at least try on any dress in ivory and white to see the difference with your skin tone?

i have a choice between white & ivory & don't know which to get.
some opinions on what color you are getting would be helpful.

i have tried on white & ivory dresses. but i noticed some of the whites are different plus some of them are discolored from being in the stores.
i am much lighter then the olive skin in some of my pictures. plus the wedding is in april so i don't know how much sun exposure i will get.

I love your dress! I'm getting mine in white. I don't like ivory gowns, personally. I'd just rather have white.Welcome New Vendors
