i have a choice between white & ivory & don't know which to get.
some opinions on what color you are getting would be helpful.

Depends on your skin tone and what looks better on you. I actually look horrible and washed out in white (even my mom says it...isnt she sweet? lol). So, I will be getting an ivory dress...

i wanted a white dress but when i went to try on dresses, i discovered that ivory looked much better on me, so i ordered my dress in ivory. i would go with whatever looks better on you.

my fiance begged me to get a white dress.. he was a groomsman in an ivory wedding and hated how the offwhite shirts looked. (he felt like he looked dirty.. but i also feel like it was more the place he rented the tuxes from that the shirts looked grimy)
soo that being said, im wearing white.. i think it pops a lil more

Well it alldepends on which one looks better to you when you try them on. Depending on your skin complextion it can also make a difference. Some dresses look better in white and some look better in ivory also. My dress is off white. The white version of my dress didnt look as nice. I find that ivory and off white brings out more detail in the dress

I'm right there with you! My Italian Mom is so dark...and everyone thinks I am Irish b/c I am so light!
I feel your pain! My whole family has the beautiful olive colored Italian skin and then there is me, pale as anything! Most people think I am Scottish because of my pale skin and dark features! I swear, I am the mail man's kid! Anyway, I am most likely getting ivory as well since I am so fair.

i liked the ivory i tried my gown in ivory only!!! but i ordered in white! i can't wait to see how it looks! my mom wanted me to wear one its very important for her so i chose white but i love ivory!

I think you should try on a Maggie white and a Maggie ivory dress (or a few) and see which you like better. Hard for me to say! Good luck!

Gorgeous dress! I think it would equally great in either color, but you have to try on both against your skin, consider your hair, make-up and if you'll have a tan.
I've been looking at ivory for myself though, may not have much of a tan

My good friend wore the Victoriana, and she got it in the brushed gold color-the same thats in the ad..
It was AMAZING!!!!!! And she totally looked like a bride.
Sorry I can't answer on white or ivory though A lot of our 2008 & 2009 brides have that dress, why don't you search and look through pics?
