Has anyone ever used this tailor before or know someone who has? Was she good, bad or indifferent? Please let me know-thanks!

Phyllis is really great. I ordered by dress from her and she is making my bridesmaid dresses. My MOH ordered her wedding dress from her and our bridesmaid dresses. She was refered to us by another one of my BM whose entire family has used her for other weddings and all sorts of dresses for all occassions, including her own wedding. They did nothing but rave about her alterations and she is so easy to work with. After reading some of the horror stories of alterations from the bridal salons, I was more than happy to use her and know I was getting A+ work!

She is actually the mother of an old co-worker... A few of the girls used her for various wedding services/items and everything I saw/heard was great.. She made the most amazing doll for one of my friends.. I am definately going to see her when my date gets closer.

I don't know her however, is she also a seamstress and can make dresses. I am desperatley looking for a seamstress to make my bridesmaids dresses. I have a specific dress I would like to get made to fit for each bridesmaid. If so how do I get in contact with her? Thx for the help.

I would also like her information. After the way the Commack Wedding Center did the alterations for my sisters wedding I am looking for a seamtress to do the alterations for my wedding!

---Its so funny that you say that because my girlfriend works with her daughter now and that is how I got the information about her. Thank you to everyone who responded--I was so afraid to allow any bridal salons to do the alterations since I had heard so many horror stories about so many of them. I feel much more comfortable having someone else who is less rushed and overworked take care of these very important details for me. I feel relieved and think I will finally be able to order my dresses and have an experienced hand do my alterations without any worries! Thanks again!
