Dress stores

I recommend Davids Bridal . I know some people may not like them or they think that the quality will not be there BUT: You can try on dresses for all Sizes...and that counts Also recommend Estelles Dressy Dresses. Has a bigger selection of formal wear...also in different sizes..including plus sizes. Great Source for Non Traditional Bridal party wear

Dress stores

Believe it or not, I got my bridesmaid dresses at bloomingdales. Depending on what you want (I did not really want my bridesmaid dresses to look bridesmaidy, I think you can find great deals there. The dress I got was ABS, $260 originally (marked down to $229) and with the 10% bridesmaid discount and 10% off for opening a bloomingdales credit card, it wound up being $200 flat. I thought it was great. The salespeople were really helpful in getting all the sizes together and all my bridesmaids seem very happy! Good luck!

Estelle's

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses at Estelle's and the service was GREAT!!! We ordered them through the bridal department in the back - they came in in a month. But they have all of the dresses from their regular section. If you can get your bridemaids together and go there, you can really luck out. Fortunately, the bridesmaid dress i picked was just a cheap as the dresses up front. You have nothing to lose - give it a try. If anything, the girls can try on tons of dresses and you can get an idea of what they look best in!

You can call for store hours. They also have great Mother of the Groom/Bride dresses too.

I looked around to find the dresses that I liked first. Then when we found the one that we liked I called around to find out prices. Most stores can order any designer even if they don`t carry the dress. I ended up ordering it from Bridal Reflections which was close to most of the girls, open late and very helpful.
