i would have been lost without my 2 doc's they were the best!! even my dh was happy i hired them...they helped with everything and i was not stressed at all

i had a Maitre'D but no bridal attendant. I did have a DOC and I couldn't have done it without her! I highly recomment Christine from A Piece of Cake Events!

i used simply couture and so thankful i did!
my bridal attendant was good but like some others said, your DOC knows you much better.
She handled everything for me, I never lifted a finger, never carried anything...she had lipgloss for me everytime i needed it, ran around rounding up family and friends for pictures, handled the few kinks i had during the day...handled all the money for vendors, etc.
I honestly do not think any bridal attendant could match up to a DOC
I of course highly rec danielle...but in general i highly rec having a DOC If you can afford one...i dont think you will regret it

I did and it was definitely worth every penny. My DH actually found the to be our most worthwhile upgrade. I had A Modern Day Affair and they were amazing, accommodating and over all the greatest piece of mind for our day. It helped not having to worry about the bridal party, and families not having a good time because they were looking over last minute details. They knew how I wanted the decorations and room to look. They were amazing.

Your M'D is really to attend to your guest and the wait staff. Your BA is to attend to you the day of. Your DOC knows how you want everything from the inside out. Your M'D and BA don't since you only meet with them a handful of times.
With my DOC I went how I wanted everything to go from top to bottom and set up and they made sure that it was executed. If a last minute crisis happens or you need a timeline or your vendors confirmed they are there to do that. They are there before during and after...not just that day.
I'd hire Cheeky Glam all over again. My mom who likes to be in control was even able to let loose and enjoy the WHOLE wedding which was important to me.

also, i just wanted to add, im not sure about CLM, but at CHCC, i didnt get to meet the MD or the BA until the minute i set foot at CHCC on the wedding day. all they had was an inventory of what i boxed and where to put it, but of course there were issues, all of which my DOC handled. i had her leave at 9pm though (and my reception didnt end until 1am), because i felt like once everything was in motion at the RH, guests were eating dinner, etc., the MD and BA took over.

i had a wedding with 205 people and no DOC and i would say i definitely did not need one. Our maitre'd and bridal attendant took care of us and everything was perfect. it would have been a complete waste of money for us to have one...im glad DH let me hire one bc i really wanted one!
Paula, if you didn't have your mom or any help from your sister, and had two kids would you reconsider that? We are going back and forth with it...

i had a DOC. Christine from Piece of Cake, She was absolutely amazing and seriously helped me from going crazy!!! she kept us on time and most importantly she handled the messiness that was my father, brother, sister in law and niece and nephew (all who were in the wedding party) going to the wrong location about an hour away!!! she calmed me down and worked it out so that they made it to the ceremony about 30 minutes in and in time for pictures!! she was just awesome!!!
I recommend having one mainly so that you are able to enjoy your day and not worry about all the little things

Seriously Christine was like my life saver! by the end of the night DH was like 'Christine is awesome. Totally worth it'
