I want to do red wine for favors, but have never tried any of the wines from trader joes.. have any of you ladies had the wine or have a favorite from them?

i just wanted to say that i've bought bottles of the charles shaw shiraz-that's not too bad-And i've had the merlot too but i prefer the shiraz. there's another red wine that i just can't remember the name but it was good too. Maybe go buy a few bottles and taste them at home to find the one you like the best. Their priced so well; it won't hurt to buy 5 or 6 to taste. You'll just have the rest to drink at night! LOL!

I didn't use it as favors, but I love red wine and I find that their Merlot and Cabernet is pretty damn good.
So good that I bought 6 bottles last week

So good that I bought 6 bottles last week
We used their Merlot for favors...it seems to appeal to the masses. However, we drink their Cabernet Sauvignon personally. Cannot go wrong with either. You should sample a few and make a decision. They are cheap but not cheap tasting.

personally, i've tried them all before and for like $1 more per bottle, you can get a decent cheap wine that's not from trader joes and you don't have to trek into the city to pick up if you buy in bulk from like Bottle Bargains in Northport or another distributor. not sure where you're located
