Still on the fence on this one...we LOVED Lia and Nelson but still not sure we can work it into the budget. We are looking at their photo package B ($3800) and video package A ($1500 - we don't need the baby pic montage), for a grand total of $5300. However, while that figure seems high, I remember Lia told us that we should factor in another $150-200 for the 'composite' pictures they do in the album, and I wanted to see if anyone had had experience with that. Did it REALLY cost $200 extra, when all was said and done?? Or were you able to get by with just the 40 pictures that are included, without any 'extras'?? Please let me know! We really want to book them but are very concerned about the expense. Even the $5300 is a little over what we'd budgeted... Thanks in advance!!

Re: Brides who've used Imagine Studios
Just reposting, in case this one got lost in the shuffle. If you have any feedback, I'd be most appreciative. We are trying to make our decision asap, but I am so confused and stressed over this! Thanks again!!

Re: Brides who've used Imagine Studios
Hi AlisonMT We used Imagine and spent some money over our quoted price, mostly due to composites. Off the top of my head I think we did 5 pages that way. I did my something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue on one page; a few shots our flowergirls on another; 2 pages of dancing composites and a cake composite. I think that was it. The composites look great but you dont have to have them. We didnt pay for them until we picked up our completed album so at that point we didnt realy feel it.

Re: Brides who've used Imagine Studios
When you put more than one photo on a page. Lia told me it would cost $25 extra per page to do 'composites' of 4 photos, if this brings the total # of pictures in the album to more than 40. Of course, I asked if we stayed under 40, but did some pages as composites, would it cost extra, and she said no, but warned that most brides get more than 40 images (thus, extra cost...she said to figure between $150-200 extra).

Oh yes, yes she did speak on that. But she does not charge per pix, you still get the same # of pages. I guess the composite sometimes add more pages to the album, so then that is what you are being charged for?
I was under the impression that she does not charge extra for extra pix on a page as long as your album stayed within your page limit. I will definitely have to give her a call. I guess when its time to decide on that, our funds will not be as tied up as it is now with the wedding to pay for.
Thinking about it now might not be even worth the worry. I know it will not be a problem paying for it, if we so choose to go with a couple of composite pages.
Happy planning all

Re: Brides who've used Imagine Studios
I just spoke with Lia and I got it all clarified. If you do 2 pix on a page or 4 pix on a page it is $25 per page for the composit. To add an additional page to your album it is $30 and that is only to add 1 pix to your page. I think doing a composite is a great idea, it gives you more pix that you are able to add to your album. Even if you add say 3 composite the most it could be is $75. This is only an option, you might choose to stick with your album as a 40 page album. The composite is not paid until you go to pick up your album also. I think if its something you really want the price is not bad at all.

Now I am confused. Does this mean, if you stay within your 40 photo limit, but want to put 2 or 4 on a certain page, it will cost extra?? I was under the impression that we could put any # of pix on a page for the amount of the package, so long as we stayed within the 40 picture limit...

Alison,
Think about it- Lets say your album has 40 pics. You would not want to take 8 of you pics and put them on 2 pages total- you would be cheating your self, so what she does is tell you that for $25, you could by another page and put a few pics on it. At least thats the way that I understand it.

Wait, I'm wrong. FH says that this is how it works.
If you have an album with 60 images, your book has 30 pages because each page has 2 sides. You can pay $25 to make a page a composite so that instead of having one pic on that page, you have a few. So for the $25 per page, you end up with more pics in your album.
