Are there any brides with small chests that had their wedding dresses cupped/padded? How did it look? Can you post pictures? I do not want to look flat chested in my gown. When I tried on the sample I had no bra on and I looked flat as a board I'm wondering how much a seamtress can add and what I should ask them to do for me
thanks girls!

From what i was told--the cups won't help---I think if you bring a strapless padded bra to the fitting, you can see the difference between that and cups, and then you can pick. I was told cups are for girls who have something to hold in!!

Re: Brides with Small Chests
what about wearing chicken cutlets? I am not small- just average but for some reason when i tried the dress on, i was totally flat, so I was gonna stick those in my bra to help fill out the dress better

Re: Brides with Small Chests
im flat chested as well, and i was a bridesmaid for my cousin this past february and they put the cups in my dress.. it didnt really help at all. i would wear a regular strapless bra that you feel comfortable in when you get it fitted.

I going to add ALOT Of padding in my dress. If you look at the top of my dress, the design of it makes it look like I will have bigger boobs
I haven't ried it in a brides gown.. but I use cups for all my bridesmaid gowns.. and they REALLY HELPED

I have the same problem.... i was not so blessed in the bobbie department!!!! When I go to my first fitting they said they will see about either padding or chicken cutlets. They told me not to worry, they will make me look like I have boobs and I am not as flat as a board!

My seamstress is actually sowing chicken cutlets into my dress!
She said it looks more naturally and REALLY WORKS!
I guess, I'll see

I love the subject of this topic.... BRIDES WITH SMALL CHESTS. it's like we could start a support group.....
MY entire family is LARGE CHESTED... or at least AVERAGE SIZE... EXCEPT FOR ME! lol lol.. it's really just not fair...
My mom says for what I lack in cleavage I make up for in BRAINS... what a mom thing to say..... too bad BRAINS won't help me hold up a DRESS!!

I think i'm a double-negative A!!
Yeah the chicken cutlets (stick-ons) work great - I just don't know if you can sew them on to the dress though because I think it's gel and if you puncture it - it will leak!!! Maybe your seamstress will put it in some sort of encasing first??
My major concern is that space between the dress and the chest -- coz when you get lifted etc, people can peek through that space! (I know coz my brother was a Groomsman and said all of them saw the bride's boobs!)
Oh ok, so they are not REAL chicken cutlets....whooo

Don't feel bad.....most of the dresses make everyone look flat. I am a C (not full C, but C lol) and I still look flat in it. So you'd have to be a DD to get some kind of curves up there. When I tried on the dress I was so disappointed about how square I looked, but the seamstress told me that they will saw in pads and when they tighten it it will lift.

ive worn chicken cutlets before LOL but i really dont want to have to wear a bra with my dress - i was hoping i could be braless....maybe they can sew in cups and then add chicken cutlets or padding? or both LMAO i am worried about the space between the dress and the chest with all the extra padding for the exact reason you mentioned above.....i hate when there is a space - you can even see it sometimes in pictures - i like when the dress lays flat against your skin and stays that way - plus i dont want to flash anyone!
thanks girls.....im wondering what some past brides did

Re: Brides with Small Chests
i want to look like this girl.....she is tiny like me except her boobs looks great.......do you think that is her? or padding? its exactley the look i want
I wouldn't go too crazy, you still want to look like yourself. Funny... I have a big chest and I'm tring to find ways to hide them.
edit to say: you want people to say 'wow she looks great, that dress really compliments her'. NOT, 'wow, I can't believe how much stuffing she must have in that dress!'
_I have heard comments like this at weddings, lol, some people are so rude

i dont want to get to crazy - i dont even care about having push up or clevage.....i just want the shape of a boob so that my waist looks nice and tiny! so that my body looks curvy

It has to be the make of alot of dresses bc, like I said, I have a big chest and I choose my dress bc it made me look smaller. I think the gel things sound like a good idea! Yeah I worked in catering for a few years and you should hear some of the stuff people would say... so rude! Most of them I coughed up to jealousy.
