I'm a smallish C and I looked flat in my dress too! I'll probably wear a long line bra, but I want one with cups! The one I tried on in the bridal shop was very thin and unsupportive and made me look even flatter.
I might see if they can just sew cups into my dress, but I'd like to look like I have some curves.. I'll see what they can do when I go for my fitting.

I love the subject of this topic.... BRIDES WITH SMALL CHESTS. it's like we could start a support group.....
MY entire family is LARGE CHESTED... or at least AVERAGE SIZE... EXCEPT FOR ME! lol lol.. it's really just not fair...
My mom says for what I lack in cleavage I make up for in BRAINS... what a mom thing to say..... too bad BRAINS won't help me hold up a DRESS!!
ha!

I notice when i was trying on dresses that the ones with the sweetheart neckline make your bust look the best (at least in my case they did, and I'm a small B cup). My dress didnt have this, but I requested that they put a small scallop in the top so that it looks like a 'mini' sweetheart' and they said it was no problem to do it.

girl, my seamstress worked a MIRACLE! lol for real. i didn't wear any bra...my dress was a very tight corseted top..this is what she did: she actually sewed in two and 1/2 pairs of cups. Two full cups in each....then she took one cup, cut it in half(making two half moon shapes), and sewed one in each....creating a homemade pushup effect anyways, here's a photo...she made my boobs look great!(well, i think so anwyay )
ps: i guess it worked 'cause when we got up on the altar, DH goes 'i like ur boobs'...only he forgot he was mic'd to the video guy...so u hear it in our wedding video

oh - and one more thing! be careful about using the 'chicken cutlets' and make sure u ask ur seamstress. they'll definetly add to ur size, but my seamstress told me that depending on the material of ur dress and the cut(ie: strapless-ESPECIALLY if ur gonna be wearing a strapless bra), they can actually weigh down the top of ur dress. just somethin' to look out for otherwise they work great for everyday or if ur wearing a strapped bra!

What in the world are chicken cutlets for a dress? I dont think I want to know
They're those things that look like breast implants - you can insert them into a bra to fill you out

Re: Brides with Small Chests
i want to go braless and maybe just have some padding for shape......so the dress doesnt lay flat against my body like im an ironing board! im just wondering if padding and cups are enough to give me some shape....

I'm also a member ot the TTC (tiny tittty club) and they are planning to sew in a bra for me. The worst is when your trying dresses on and you hear your mom 'whisper' to the ladies that we'll need to sew in a bra and maybe add a little to even her out.

Re: Brides with Small Chests
I'm not sure if the pic is too small, but my dress has roosching (or however you spell it) on the boob area, so even without a bra, it makes me look like I have something. Thank goodness!

Maybe it was your post that I read a while back. I read someone's post about the double cup plus half cup, and I had that put into my dress. I don't have any cleavage, but my dress goes straight across on top, is very tight so that it won't slip down or have space in between, and I really don't have much to make cleavage with But it gives a lot of shape to my dress (not too much at all) and I'm happy with it. When I tried it on with the cups at my second fitting, my FMIL said, 'I thought they were supposed to put cups in!'. I said, 'This is with the cups!! I don't have much too work with here!'.
