Is everyone kind of trying to have the bridesmaid dresses similar to their wedding gown? Does it matter? Here's my dress and the bridesmaid-dress-of-the-day...he he! Too many choices! Should I keep looking? And the bridesmaid dresses would be black, not purple.
I think those dresses would look very nice with your dress. I didn't really take that too much into consideration when picking BM dresses. Here's pics of mine and the girls.
I dont think they have to match at all but those do and they are very pretty.

i think that dress is great but yours doesn't have to match theirs..its whatever you like..

I really like those BM dresses, very pretty!
But honestly, do not worry about trying to match your gown to the BMs dresses.. I think that was an old rule that most people don't follow stricly any longer.
These days I don't think its necessary at all. Its more important to find a color you like, and a dress that is universally flattering to all the girls in your WP.
