I have 6 bridemaids, all different shapes, heights and bust sizes. I had a pretty good experience picking out dresses. I picked a long dress with an empire waist which compliments each of the girls well. Plus the material is very flowy and not form fitting. And didnt have any complaints. They all actually agreed lol Here is a link to my dresses, if you would like to have something like that. Just a thought and good luck! Just remember to stay strong and pick what you like!

I picked Bill Levkoff as the designer and Matte Satin as the fabric and they get to pick which style dress they like. I have 5 girls and they all very in sizes and I wanted them all to be comfortable.

Thank you both very much.. I think my final decision would have to be to pick a designer and material and have them all pick their own style..

Dont let them drive you crazy. cause they drove me nuts. basically i wanted them all in the same dress. so i picked my favorite 6 dresses or less and toldthem i want their opinions and to vote on it. if its split or cannot agree i will make the decision on what looks best on all of em.

get one with 'rouching'. its sooo flattering.
and yes...bill levkoff has tons of flattering styles.
the problem is the models on the site are like 10lbs..but most styles look awesome on a normal/full figured woman too

I too have girls of all shapes and heights. I ended up going w/Mori Lee style 284 bc it's flattering for all shapes plus this designer doesn't charge extra for larger sizes and she accommodates woman up to 6ft tall! So all mu girls will be paying the same price plus the alterations!

there is nothing wrong wiht picking a designer and fabric and letting the girls pick their own dress. If you want to pick the dress, i would take a clue from your dress. If your dress is A-line and lace, chose an A-line dress with maybe a lace detail in a matte fabric. If you have a fit and flair, find a similar shape for the girls. Obvi A-line and a drop waist is the most flattering style on all body shapes. Also, they will prolly never wear this dress again, so tell them not to be so concerned.
