so....i have a problem. i originally was going to have just an moh (my sister), but in the end i decided to add my friend as a bm as well. my sister and i went to look at dresses and picked one out in october. i still have not gone with my bm to look at dresses (specifically the one that i picked for my sister). i was just told that we need to order the dress within the next 2 weeks. the only time i have available to go with her in that time is next weekend, but they don't have any appointments available. SO, the only time that she can go is mlk day, when i will be away. is it ok to ask her to go alone? is it ok to tell her she has the choice of going alone or not being in the wedding? (i wouldn't be that upset if i just went back to the one moh) what would you do?
when i asked her to go by herself, she basically ignored it and said we should just pick another dress (not because she doesn't like the dress but because she doesn't want to go to this place alone...so she wants to find a place where we can go together). but i don't want another dress!!!!
no it's not a problem with the dress!! she likes the dress, she just doesn't want to go alone! so this place doesn't have appts so she said let's just get it from somewhere else.
Ask her to please do this for you. It's very important to you and you don't want to be stressed out later because of a time crunch or the colors being a little off because of the dyelots being done at different times, and it's really not worth her being lazy just to cause so much more stress... It would be WAY more difficult to find another dress that you both like, especially since you'd have to get together and approve it. Just be honest with her!!!!!
did your MOH already order her dress? did you order your dress from this store?
honestly, i think you need to go a little bridezilla on the store!!! tell them that you want her to order this dress and the two of you are only available on ____days. you already picked out the dress!!! so you wont be wasting time shopping at other dresses...the poor girl just needs to try it on and get measured
this is ridiculous. you really need to call the store and yell at them or something. do they really want to miss a sale and a satisfied client becuase they dont have LITERALLY 10 minutes to get a girl measured.

my moh didn't order the dress yet. i didn't order my dress from there. and we haven't necessarily picked the dress, because if the style doesn't look good on her, she'll have to choose a different style (in the same color, material, and designer). the only thing i don't want to do is get it from a diff place, because as was said, they won't necessarily match in color.

how long has your friend had to go look at dresses? if its been a short period of time, its not really her fault. and if she asked to go with you, i dont see that as a BAD thing...it sounds like maybe she wants to be involved (of course i could be totally wrong here). so the other option is to go later....and then pay a rush shipping charge. depending on how long she had to plan this before, i might just pay the rush charge myself...

well from the beginning we were gonna go together, so it's both of our faults that we didn't go (mostly mine). but at this point it doesn't really matter whose fault it is...only that this is the dilemma that we're in right now. i'm pretty sure the dress isn't available in any other place except jenny yoo.
