Bridesmaids Dress!!!!

I feel guilty telling someone what to buy to wear for my wedding... should I have a cap on the price for each dress?? where is the best places to look?
Do the bridesmaids pay for their own hair/makeup or I should include that in my budget??

I am trying to have a $200 cap on my bridesmaid dresses we go in 2 weeks though so I will let you know if that's remotely possible lol.

I will not pay for the bridesmaids to get their hair done but I am looking into shelling out the fees for their makeup. Everyone is different though some ppl don't pay for their brides hair or makeup. Just keep in mind what you can or cannot afford. If you have it then definitely add it into your budget.

There is no rules to weddings. My bm is getting married before me in dec she is paying for our hair, I'm not! I can't afford it! It's really up to you.
I would have a talk with your girls to find out what they were thinking. So far the cheapest dress I found (gown with lace top) $168! Most expensive$299 hope that helps!!

David's will always be the cheapest! Bridal suite of centereach has a nice selection, Renata's to buy they were pricey. I shall went to Fantasia bit they didn't have much, and bridal suite of bayshore too. But that's the only places I've been too so far. I'm not going to officially look look till the summer. But gowns r deff more $ I think $150 is gonna be the min unless you go to David's. But they don't have a lace dress so that's out for me!

My idea is that we r in opposite colors. I'll be in an all white lacey dress with teal accents (corset strings in teal, teal belt under a lace bling belt and possibly teal crinoline or tulle whatever it's called!! ) they will be in all teal with white lace top and a white bbow.

When a girl agrees to be part of the wedding they know its an expensive proposition but of course its good to be respectful of a budget.
I tried to keep the BM dress under 200 and the one we picked was 140. Davids is def the cheapest but couldnt find anything I liked, went to several other places but they were starting 200 or nothing impressive. I highly recommend RK, amazing selection but DEFINATELY go during the week. I heard its a zoo on the weekends. The dress is 140 and if your order it all to 1 address its free shipping.
Having their hair/makeup done some brides either ask their girls to either do all up or down or whatever. I told them to do whatever they would like. Im gonna try to pay for the makeup for them but its looking like its gonna be more than i anticipated. But ask your girls if they want to use them or not once you get closer to the day. some might choose to pay extra for the pampering
