I am getting married in Spring and it is a Saturday night and I was wondering if it was ok to have my bridesmaids wear black?

totally. Mine are most likely wearing black and we are wearing black for FSIL's wedding this coming May.

Yes, it's definitely okay. Black is very elegant and your BMs will have a gown they can wear again if they choose to!

I used black dresses and I got married in the summer. I feel like most of the 'traditional' rules have gone out the window with a lot of things so go with whatever you like best.

I think another color would look nicer, but ofcourse they can wear it if thats what you want.
