So how many of you went to try on bridesmaid dresses with your bms? Or did you just tell them what dress to order?
im going with 7 out of 8 of my bms to try on dresses (well one particular one that i love!) and im a little worried about it not going well lol ..
Does anyone want to share your experiences?

I had started to look for dresses with my MOH a few weeks before I went with my bms. The day we finally purchased the dresses I took my mom, my sister (moh) and 3 of my 5 bms with me. It was great, we had an awesome time and they were very cooperative. We decided on a dress after 5 hours of looking and trying on dresses in 3 different stores. My other 2 bms went and ordered the dresses without me, cause I was out of the country when they went.

I had all my BMs except for one, who lives in Hawaii, try on dresses together. We had brunch, and then went to the store. I had selected 5 styles, all with the same fabric and length and similar style, and they each chose which they wanted. It was a lot of fun!

next week i am going with my mom, MOH, and 1 BM to start getting some ideas, then in december all 6 of my girls and I are going to make the final decision and put down deposits.....

I did go with a few of my BM's (3 out of 5) to pick out the dresses. I let them pick which dress they wanted (as long as it was blue, satin and floor length). They ALL ended up picking the same dress. yay!
If you already picked the dress you want them to wear, I'd still go with them when they try it on anyway.

I brought my MOH to try on dresses. Once we picked one, and she purchased it, I went with my other BM to order her dress. My third BM is in college out-of-state so she ordered her dress over the phone.

The 1st time I went I brought my MOH and 2 BM. They tried on a few dresses we decided on one.
Then went back with all 7 of them and then we picked a totally different dress

I went with my 2 sisters and let them pick the dress they loved then I told my other 6 girls the dress to order. It was much easier than shopping with 8 women!

just advice... dont take shyt from anyone... but also dont dismiss their opinion completely... you want them to be comfortable in the dress they are wearing... but you cant please everyone!

i first went with my MOH's (sisters) b/c i didn't want to torture my friends. but when i thought i picked a dress, i brought them all and decided i didnt like them. i finally picked one and brought them all so they can put the order through

The first time I went was with my MOH. Then the next time it was with my MOH and my mom. That day I ended up going to BR with my mom and I tried on tons of BM dresses until I found the one. I brought all of my BMs and MOH with me to Bridal Reflections to try the dress on and tell me what they thought. They all loved it and put a deposit on their dresses.

I went only with my sister (MOH). We found one we both loved, the lady at BR said it looked great on all figures, and that was that. My BMs are ALLLLL over the country, so getting them all together was not going to happen.
