bridesmaids dresses-need places to look

where are places i can take my girls to go for bridemaids dresses? someplace that has a large selection? we aren't going to go untill october, but i need places to go, so after your input, ill print out this page and have it for when we are ready to go dress hunting! thanks

I went to Lestans in brooklyn. I know some people have said negative things about them on the board... however, I got my dress and BM there
they have all the name brand names and are discounted. Also, I did not have a problem w/ anyone there..... no one was rude to me... plus the owner went out of her way to let me take a sample head piece to my hair trial so I would not wreck mine and return it to her at her home on long island b/c she knew my mom and this way I didnt have to make a trip into brooklyn again
maybe if you go and ask for tammy and tell her sharon sent you
they will be extra nice :) but even the people who dont know my mother were not rude to me

I'm getting my bm dresses at Angel Bridals in East Islip. The owners Rosemary & Vicki are wonderful and their selection was unique. I was looking for velvet dresses and they were the only place that had a decent selection. I absolutly recommend them!

Commack wedding center and Paradise Bridals (Patchogue) have a huge selection.

They're great for looking...for ordering, I'd go with Paradise. (I ordered my dress from Paradise but got BM's online)

I just went with my girls today to buy their dresses. We bought them from Macys. The have a great selection, and they are very nice and helpful.

i think lestans in brooklyn is great also...its a good place for everyone...my mom went there for my sisters wedding and im goint to bring her back with my feance's mom...
they have a wonderful selection for great prices also...
they are really nice and helpful...
