Bridesmaids hairstyle

Are you requesting your bridesmaids do a certain hairstyle if your not paying, like a low updo, or down and curly, something general that they can basically do whatever they want within, low updo - theres obviously a lot of differnt styles or down and curly they can do half up half down, the poof etc, for ex. Or your letting them choose whatever?

The girls can wear their hair however they want. They all have such different styles and hair types - they will know what works best for them.

I asked them for ideas, and we all decided on one style, so they're gonna wear their hair down, soft curls with a hair piece on the side

i am letting them do what they want....i already regret that decision!!!

I have one BM who is a large girl and since i told her she can get any dress she wanted she found one she liked...it was too small for her to try on but 'she held it up to her and loved it' and it is strapless. I thought it wasnt too bad esp if she has her hair all or half down...she just told me its summertime and hot so she wants her hair all up
In general, i like her with her hair half up no matter what she is wearing but i do understand her wanting to be comfortable and not sweaty so im staying quiet

I am asking them all to wear their hair 'up'...whether its in a full updo, or low side ponytail with curls....I am asking them not to wear it all down, or in a half-up/half-down style b/c at my cousins wedding one of the girls did and the curls looked terrible before we even got to the church. Plus with the dresses they are choosing, it will look to busy if there is alot of hair on their neck/shoulders/back. I am also giving them a significant contribution towards their hair/makeup....with tip, hair and makeup is only going to cost them each $120, which I think is pretty darn good

This is what I'm doing. I told them I don't care how it looks but I want it up, and off the neck, and off the face.
I wanted some uniformity because after looking at so many wedding pics since getting engaged I feel like it looks sloppy when some are down and some are up and some are to the side and some are half up/down et..... I just couldn't deal!

I am letting them do whatever they want. I have nine girls with 9 different types of hair!

but i was just in a wedding and the bride told us all Up do's

so it's whichever way you'd prefer
