FH just put the ax on me having 7 bridesmaids...i know its alot but i feel that would include everyone that i would really want ...however, Fh says that the more bm, the more limos, more bp gifts etc....

Tell your FH -- BP gifts are gonna be the LEAST of your cost concerns LOL
I would have whoever you want to have in your BP. You don't want to regret leaving somebody out later on. Just because you have 7 girls does not mean he needs to pick 7 guys! Good luck!

I am having 6 BM and 1 MOH , 1 FG & 1 JR BM I am in a wedding in two weeks were there are 10 BM, 1 MOH 2 Jr. BM & 1 FG anything is possible, do what ever you want and makes you and your FI happy

First and foremost, do whatever works for you and FH. You dont want this to cause any extra stress. That said........ Why not have 7 BM? Your wedding party does not have to be even. Depending on the size, limos might not really be affected. If the people are important to you, include them!
(If this is a point FH wont budge on, maybe the extra girls can do readings or something extra..)

i wanted to keep things small and manageable - i am having 3 girls, FH 4 guys. honestly, i wouldn't have minded only having a MOH...

It's your wedding (the only one) and you should have who you truly want to be right next to you at your wedding. I am only having 1MOH, 1 BM, and 1 Jr. BM, but that was my personal choice. You should do whats right for you! Good Luck!

On a different note..one of our friends had almost 20 people in the BP.. 8 on Groom and 12 on hers. The pics looked pretty but u could barely see everyones face in hte group pictures.

I am having 2 MOH, 5BM's, flower girl, ring bearer and I think 7 groomsmen. FH is totally against having this many but it was really hard to pick just them. I have two different groups of friends, my two sisters, Fh's sister. Its hard, but I am talking him into it.

I say you can have 100 BM and GM - whatever it is that makes you and FH happy! (too bad I cant take my own advice and my mom makes me feel guilty!)

I feel seven is a lot. BUT, I don't have a large family or loads of close friends so that is just my situation. If your FH feels like 7 is a lot, why not compromise? How about 5? He is right, the larger the bridal party, the more money you are going to spend. I think its $500 per bridal party member if you include the gifts, limo, etc. Think about your budget and then talk to the FH about it. Remember, it's his day too and you have to do what makes you BOTH comfortable.

FI and I both have 7 each. At first, I was devastated that it was so many, because I wanted something sooooo much smaller, but we've waited so long to get married and these were the people who meant the most to us, so I just went for it. Yes, you need more limo space and there are more flowers to buy, more gifts, and it will create more work for the photographer to do group pictures, but ask yourself whether its worth it? How important is it to YOU to ask them? Are you asking them because you feel obligated or because the very thought of not having them with you every step of them is unimaginable.
This was one of the hardest decisions we had to make!

My fiance gave me the same problem at the beginning! Needless to say, after a few tears...I got my way.
I DO have a BIG BP though but I love it! I think it looks nice in pictures and I am leaving no one out.
