I hear you, but the stuff i'm hearing is even worse b/c my date is next Memorial Day Monday! And I told them the same thing, 'If you can not accrue a days worth of vacation time in more than a year you may want to change your occupation.' I mean really! I'd do it for those broads!

This one is the kicker. My BM who i've known since I was 2 (and who is a bit pushy) has been trying to convince me to try a poofy dress which isn' t my style, I wanted something sleek. At dinner w/ my sis/MOH last weekend to discuss my e-party she's looking @ a bridal mag and says 'Oh look, this one is fitted and then flares at the bottom a good compromise between what we both want.'

What!! a COMPROMISE!? WE!? There is no we in the dress situation. No democracy its a bridocracy and I'll wear what I like thanks. Her only job is to tell me if the darn thing makes me look like a drag queen!

Sorry so long...i've been holding that one in for a sec!

One of my BM asked if I was concerened that guests wouldn't come because it is on MLK weekend.... when was the last time anyone went anywhere for MLK weekend?!?!?!

my Nanny bugs me and keeps saying.. are yiou sure you want to get married in 08 and not this year?

It gets annoying, but i dont get mad at her, its kinda cute... she is acutally just afraid that she isnt going to be alive.. (she is stong as a BULL she will be there!!! i know it ) .. so with that said.. i let her get away with it!

'why are you having ringbearers? FHs bro ( and not best man) will carry the rings??'

***NOTE: incase you were all wondering.. I do have a family. A rather large italian one. Just incase anyone was perplexed about whether or not i have a family that counts***

'well, since I get to pay for the rehersal dinner.. I get to choose were you have it' (that was right after FH suggested a low cost place that wed like to have it

'Ill pay for you to honeymoon in Barbados ( where half of FH's family who cant come to the wedding lives). If not then Ill give you that cost towards somet hing else. (*besides the rehersal dinner, thats all shes helping with....and i mean helping..she hasnt wanted any part of anything...even coming to see my dress.)

'No, I dont want to come and see your dress.'

'Your BM dresses are too informal'

'RED??? thats a winter color..you are getting married in spring...'

OR THE CLASSICS!!! When I got married....(courtesy of FMIL as well)

its funny bc i Adore his granparents and they live in Barbados 6 mons out of the year. They were just up and are now at his house every sun nite for dinner... sooooo FMIL says to her mom as she was leaving, 'be sure to come back mom bc we only see Lindsay when you are around!'

And shouldnt that tell her something....

my oh my...you get the award for best FMIL tolerance EVER!!

i don't know how i would handle all that. i'd kill her.
