i'm doing the same things. the only english songs i'm playing are for the bride/groom, mother/son & daughter/father dances. and that's only because i can't find any songs in greek. luckily i only have one person whho won't be greek, but he likes greek music...so i'm covered

Holy Crap...this is some sh*t on here...I can't believe what I'm reading. My new rule is I only talk about the wedding to you girls and my FH. I will talk to others only if THEY bring it up or ask me questions...I offer nothing anymore.

I'll add my personal favorite rude wedding comment...'don't waste your money...If I had a chance to do it all over again...I'd skip it'...this of course coming from women who had the big wedding and planned it for 2 years...yeah...I'm sure...they say that now because THEY DID IT ALREADY!!!!

As my FH says...the more people I talk to, the more I like my dogs!

Aruba is really nice! I went there for my honeymoon in March and holy cow I loved the weather!

after telling a co-worker what I planned to do for my favors ANOTHER co-worker who was being nosey walks up and says 'You know what you SHOULD do is...blah blah blah...because thats what I did at MY wedding...' Okay lady did I ask you? Im glad that worked at YOUR wedding but this is mine!

my mother again...'....Spending all this money for one day....' Last I checked it was me and FH's money none of yours.

People who whine and cry about my wedding being on a Thursday...You have a year to make plans, and the people that love me will be there REGARDLESS of when it is WITHOUT all the crying about

How can I have such a big wedding with so many children?

Know this is the funny part, I work and so do FH. Our children are 18 (he works so don't have to do much for him except feed him , ) 15,11, and 1.

I would understand if we wasn't working and our children was babies but that is not the case.

one of my BM moms said to me ' oh why cant u get married this summer? now i have to wait longer for a grandchild' r u kiddin me?? my BM doesnt have a problem, shes glad because i bought her more time to have a baby!!!
also my mom is very helpful w/advice and all but i hate when she brings up money like' oh do u really want to spend all that money on that?' i mean FH and i are paying for everything not my parents so i dont like when people bring up how much things are going to cost!!!!

someone at work told another co-worker regarding me:

she shouldnt have her wedding in Sept of 08 because she is younger than me and I am not even engaged yet.

my friend who is also the co-worker who this other person said it to was like what the hell does that have to do with anything???

FSIL said and I overheard it
'oh my ring is prettier and bigger'

Someone else said to me
'nice ring but it is kinda small i guess thats what you get when you are young and engaged.'

um hello my ring is 1.5 carats I dont think that is small

I was like wow I didnt know you were his accountant.

When my FH told his parents we booked our location (first day out) his father turned to my FBIL and says 'so joe, is that place nice'

I was so angry I had to leave. As if we don't have taste or class. Anyway It's our wedding and mostly my money funding it.
