I am a registered independent ... but I tend to be a democrat when it comes down to it. I voted for ralph nader once, and i think i voted for kerry ... i looooooove john edwards, really wish he would make it. i just feel he's trustworthy, even though they all seem to turn out to NOT be. I like obama and hillary ... but I agree with you kim, I don't think this country is going to elect a black man yet. sad, i think. i have no idea who I will vote for yet! Not mccain though, we do not need another republican.

Re: BRING ON THE CONTROVERSY!!!!
I used to think automatically that i would be a democrat when i was younger. I had a government glass and the differences they showed between democrats and republicans, i was surprised to see that i was more for republicans.
For one, democrats like to raise taxes to give to everyone else and to programs, and lets get real i dont see a difference in any programs they push for. ALot of our tax money is given to corporations for BS things. They did a study on this and they showed that a couple million dollars of our tax money is given to a cat food company for example to study how to make better cat food , they give money to wine companies to find ways to improve wine, do we need this obviously not but they need these corporations backing them.
Republicans do think we should have smaller government so spending would be less, although they fight for this it hasnt happened
many other differences but fh needs me to do something for his fantasy draft now lol

I'm registered Democrat in a family of Republicans
I am still undecided as of right now which would get my vote
lol my FSIL was this until this year!!!! it was the funniest thing hearing all the arguments at all the family functions. Although I'm not registered for the same reasons listed above, I would vote republican for tax reasons. My belief is that the president is not the one who controls the country...it's the people who have the $$$$$$$$ in this world!

I am so over ethnicity and gender and all about who has the best intentions.
i think presidency is totally tyranical and we should go back to the whole idea of a senate where everything requires a vote and more than one person can speak for our people.

Re: BRING ON THE CONTROVERSY!!!!
I have no registered party but I tend to lean Republican in most elections.
I think Obama is extremely smart but needs more experience. I rather him then Hillary on the Democractic ticket.
I liked McCain when he first ran but now I have mixed feeling about him.
In terms of the economy I think a Republican president is always better for the market.
