Do you really believe that?
I absolutely believe that we need someone young in office... the old way of doing things just isn't working anymore..... it hasn't been working.

Registered Democrat and I will be voting for Hilary or Obama, whoever makes it. I think the last 8 years were awful, politically, and I cannot wait for it to be over! Countdown!

in general democrats tax higher, because they want funding for those who make less money and for different programs. Its part of what they believe in. I think alot of people dont know what the real differences are between democrats and republicans and what each party really stands for. Higher taxes is a solution democrats seek to achieve what they are looking to do. Same way with government spendind

Re: BRING ON THE CONTROVERSY!!!!
denise, is correct. democrats are way more in favor of government intervention and programs to assist not just the low income but to create a more balanced system for all, whereas traditionally speaking conservative republicans feel that less governement is better.. and that in order to assist and support the lower income you provide tax breaks to the high income and business and then wait for the benefits to trickle down.. the whole reagan era trickle down economics theory.. if u provide more discounts and benefits to big corp's and the wealthy, they will use this benefit to shop more, and spend more and hire more which will in turn help the low income by providing additioal jobs etc etc..
prob is it doesn't quite work. in theory perhaps it sounds good but when the corps take those tax benefits and us them to open up overseas they'e in essence taking the benefit else where..
anyhoo,, i could never and would never vote for anyone who supported this fight for oil war in iraq.. which is why hillary will not get my vote.. no matter how much she back pedals and tries to worm her way out of it, she voted yes without taking the time to even read the report.. i have more respect for someone who read bush's lies and beleived them than someone who didn't give the time of day to even read it.. what was she doing? busy working on her marriage? (dont get mad hil supporters.... its just a joke..)
anywhoo.. my real choice of a system but i know it's not an option in capitalist america would be a communist society where the people make sure that ALL the people have instead of a society where just the uber rich have a lot and the poor have nothing..

Re: BRING ON THE CONTROVERSY!!!!
Guess what? I am a registered Republican! I bet you all never saw THAT coming. As of right now I am voting for Mccain BUT I am keeping an open mind and trying to keep myself informed. I would have loved to vote for Giuliani but I guess that isn't happening, lol.
I would rather vote for my pinky toe than Hillary BUT if Obama was too win - I wouldn't be devestated . . . I agree with the girls that mentioned we need someone younger in charge!
